Accepting a gift is not taking advantage of someone. It is a blessing to receive. When you give someone a gift do you feel like they are taking advantage of you? This was one of the hardest things I had to learn. The person giving the gift is even blessed more so than the person accepting the gift. So by saying no to a gift you are keeping that person from their blessings. The saying, "I am blessed to be a blessing" holds true.
@thatsafaceforradio Tell me about it. I didn't mean to get a tan, but I've been running around all week. (Doctors and such) I put thick layers of sunscreen on, but it doesn't seem to help much. You should see me today. I look like a frickin' tomato. Last summer I loved to be tan. But now I'm trying to be as cautious as I can. I certainly don't want to get another form of cancer. We have a few regional drug & hobby stores around here as well. I've always had more fun shopping at those than the huge national stores; feels more like home.
I knew the time had come to say good bye to Pagey. His health had declined too far & he was hurting. He was 1 month shy of 14 yrs, so he had a pretty good run.
Life goes on, and my next video will reflect that.
@jax252000 I have actually been working part time as a karaoke dj so I am working more than singing nowadays. It's been pretty hard on my body so not sure how long I will keep it up. I will try to post something soon. I have another channel at mydisabilityinfo here on youtube where I have posted some stuff related to lupus and fibromyalgia if you wanna see that. :)
