I do watch the news. I watch all news, Fox News included. Mainly because I get it in High Definition though. Iraq wasn't any more of a threat to us than Iran or Syria. The only thing wrong with Iraq was Saddam... but he ended up not having ANY weapons. They were bankrupt and couldn't even have attacked Iran (their closest neighbor). Colin Powell eventually conceded this a couple of years after the invasion. Every indepent panel in the world has conceded this FACT. Republicans even conceded.

The theory behind it is that it is too difficult to obtain a survey of every single American so the proposal is that a large enough sample size randomly chosen should be an accurate statistic of the entire population. @Dustman3400 that around 10% of all the products are defective. This is the idea behind the poll. Generally poles have percentages of variance accounting for the sample size. What I would consider an accurate sample would be to have a poll of 1% of the population of each state. If all of the statistics were taken in one particular area, one could argue that only that area had that viewpoint. But a sample of each state proportional to each other would be the best way to know what America thinks.

That was the major crime for which Nazi war criminals were hanged. The invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan were clearly cases of aggression. Obama is participating in the first, escalating the second.

I'm not 100% on that. The war in Afganistan was justified it did harbor the people who attacked us. The war in Iraq is on the same hand 100% illegal. However as a combat vet we were doing a good mission in Afganistan. The problem came when Rumsfield was put in charge, then it turned into a shit show.
The war crimes the bush admin are quilty of is genocide, torture, and violations of the Hague and Geneva conventions. The current escalation in Afganistan however is legal and with merit.

Bush did not save America. 9/11 happened on his watch after he received a briefing from Dr. Rice titled "Bin Laden determined to attack America". The commission put little blame on Bush or even Clinton for that matter, most of the blame went to the intelligence agencies. They hoped to delay it and lay it squarely in Obama's lap. However like eveything else they did , they misjudged. I think you get the point by now. The last point that I will make is that Bush didn't regulate risky investment methods by banks which led to this melt down. Now, don't get me wrong, Clinton also did little to regulate these things. But Bush certainly should have done something when things began going south. I don't blame Bush for everything. I do watch the news. I watch all news, Fox News included. Mainly because I get it in High Definition though. Iraq wasn't any more of a threat to us than Iran or Syria. The only thing wrong with Iraq was Saddam... but he ended up not having ANY weapons. They were bankrupt and couldn't even have attacked Iran (their closest neighbor). Colin Powell eventually conceded this a couple of years after the invasion. Every indepent panel in the world has conceded this FACT. Republicans even conceded.

The tortures are important because they undermine our stance in the international community. It definitely hurt our diplomatic efforts. Also, the report on the Niger incident was created by weapons experts that worked for the U.N. They were completely unbiased. Several neutral panels have found errors in our intelligence.

CNN also reported on their website about how historical scholars have rated Bush in the bottom 5 of worst presidents in US history. Just give it up man. He was a terrible president. Not to say that Republicans just suck or anything. But George Bush definitely sucked at his job. His job approval rating was abysmal, and this included the consideration of both Republicans and Democrats. Hop off Bush's nuts already. First, torture is not waterboarding and sleep deprivation. There is no harm done to the criminals being "tortured." Second, wiretapping is completely fine when we are looking to catch terrorists. It isn't use to censor citizens, just to catch a terrorist plot. Third, we were safe these past 7 years weren't we? Thanks President Bush. It is already apparent that Obama is going to be an awful president. If you're concerned about wiretapping just wait until you see what this president does.

When u wiretap ordinary american citizens in no way involved in terrorism and keep records without a court order, can be constructed a crime. What people like you will see over time is that a proper political and economic environment keeps terror at a minimum, not torture and eavesdropping on citizens. Read Sun Tzu, Bush never did that's for sure.

The criminals have a choice, either talk, or be punished. We put people in jail during WW2 for waterboarding, did you know that? And if you did'nt, you have to ask yourself why did we have that rule for waterboarding? Why did we have th Geneva Convention? Are you aware that a lawyer from Upstate NY was 'Renditioned' in Belarus and taken not knowing his whereabouts?
