It´s generally tuned in b - but like a standard guitar tuning in e dropped by 5 frets - so it´s b-e-a-d-f#-b. When playing on 7-strings, we´re tuned on b-e-a-d-f#-b-e

Thanks a lot! As I already tried to answer - the guitar is neither a B.C.Rich nor an ESP - it´s a Hoyer (german brand). The saping is just like a Gibson SG mixed up with some "bat" features.

All in matt black - 24 frets, set in neck, strings-through body, 1 split coil PU and 1 volume control - that´s all.

As I just use programmed drums for demo tracks in my project studio, I simply use a sequencer program (I´m fine with fruity loops at the moment) and then re-trigger the data for a more natural sound (didn´t do that in this recording)..

It´s b tuning. First of all thanks, but I don´t agree that there is no musical value in it. We are working pretty hard on different harmonics within any song and the fact that they´re performed in a rather fast pace doesn´t mean they don´t exist...

Sorry, but that wouldn´t be possible for some reasons. First - this is just a sample recording with NOT the actual drumpart that we use now (see description). But most important: NO ONE could in any way replace our drummer for us! (and btw he can do some sweet db ;) ).

Thanks! Here are some bands that have pretty much shaped my understanding of death metal: old monstrosity, cannibal corpse, morbid angel, death, dying fetus, hate eternal, old sinister (up to `hate´), origin... but there are several less known bands that definately create sick and versatile music. So if you can check out bands as Ingurgitating Oblivion, Yattering, Sleep Terror etc... Hope that´ll help a bit.

If you refer to the other guitars you can hear - as i said - it´s a demo recording for my band and I used the project´s audio because I write music with two guitars and a bass playing differing licks that makes sense when listening to the complete puzzle. I´m too sorry you can´t make that out because you´re used to listen to music without any varying tracks... =)
