  • What does basing the scapl do?

  • @EcstasyAngel03 It serves as a barrier between my scalp and the relaxer.

  • Wow!! Thanks for this vid. I tried your twist and clip method and it made all the difference in the world as far as staying within a timeframe and getting everything smoothed. Great idea!!

  • @revellingreckoning Glad to hear it worked out well for you!

  • I love this...oh I was on your fb page just now, the girl who wrote "I just subbed" lol wow, I love your method. I was overprocessed and I promised myself I would never do a self relaxer again, but I love this soooo mucccch, its like if you move slow you don't have to worry. I might make a respond vid to this...

  • @nikasut lol hey. Before I started self relaxing this way I would always underprocess my hair (this was before I wanted to be telaxed). Working on one half takes a lot of pressure off having to rush.

  • Wow you do A LOT just to relax your hair but hey, your hair looks nice so I guess it's working. I liked your technique, I think I'll try it next time I do my hair if I'm not being too lazy.

  • how often do u relax ur hair?..and do u always use the apoghee reconstruct. before u neutralize?..have u tried the 2 minute protein treatment..

  • @keedaomen I relax every 10-12 weeks. Yes, I always use a protein treatment before I neutralize. The ApHogee shown in the video is the 2 Minute Reconstructor.

  • I love your twist and clip method for parting the hair. Great idea! I'll definitely be borrowing that one. =)

  • your hair is so pretty :) u use alot of the same products that I do

  • WoW!

  • If you leave the clips in when its time to smooth the process will be even quicker.

  • Awesome video...thanks

  • i might have to try that with the clips hmmm

  • what does the porosity control do?

  • @benyealiscute It corrects the pH level of hair. Here, I'm using it to protect my already relaxed hair from relaxer runoff, to prevent overprocessing of my already relaxed hair.
