The thing with this is that it LOOKS really intimidating, but is actually not as scary as Millennium Forces first drop. It does go extremely fast and high, but because you go straight down, you don't get that feeling of coming out of your seat. It's definitely one of the best coasters I've ever ridden and not as scary as it looks.

Dude I rode this beast. It is amazing!! Formula Rossa may be 30 mph faster but only goes that fast for 5 seconds. Cedar point is an epic park.

@Skutieos7 I went yesterday. Shut down after I was in the line for about 40 minutes(I got in at 6:40). Was shut down for a good 40 minutes. Line started moving again. Another 40 minutes in the line. I needed to leave at 7:30 for a 4 hour drive home, but I stayed in line. I got to the front(I was to be on the next train), and it shut down again(at 8:40). I finally left. Stayed at a hotel as I was too tired to drive home, and went on it today. Worth every minute of waiting.....

@Worldatwarwhore I've only rode "Top Thrill Dragster", not "Kingda Ka", so can't really judge. But in my opinion, "Top Thrill Dragster" is a whole lot scarier. Firstly, the continuous engine sounds and the Christmas lights just add to the fear. You KNOW you're next, but you can't do anything about it. And then you hear that voice, "head back, arms down, and hold down". Now this gets your adrenaline pumping. Then 321. And vroom! You are OUT OF THERE. Not to mention, you only have a lapbar.

@face2faceish1 It IS a lot more intense. You're not missing anything by not having ridden that ugly green thing in NJ. ±±±±THe launch on TTD is much more intense, you have the awesome effects of the engines and tires screaming, a grand stand for people to watch-it's just a great ride! :)

@22SHADOWLOVER Hi 22SHADOWLOVER! I was extremely nervous for this ride, to the point where I wouldn't even stand in line for it. However, I just went on and it's actually not as scary as it looks. Trust me. And I'm the biggest chicken on the planet when it comes to roller coasters. The only scary part is the launch, but it feels so good and is so thrilling, that you'll be enjoying yourself. Once you get to the top, it's not scary anymore and it's such a great rush and feeling. Don't worry :)

Just thrilling. Also, that's another thing. Make conversation in the lines. I did that and I felt so much better about myself :) The people are really nice, they don't mind. But seriously, don't stress about it. It's super fun and you'll kick yourself if you didn't ride it.

@face2faceish1 I first rode the millenium after riding the dragster and i liked the millenium because its longer, but i liked the dragster for the shoot off at the beginning. Its a hard decision, the top thrill dragster is hard to compare to anything because of the shoot off, its a whole different experience. If i had to choose, i would choose MF because its longer and the huge drop still gives a lot of thrill to the ride. The drop on MF awesome. I say just ride both!:D

@Katie289Marie I liked the Dragster better than the Millenium.  I actually like the Magnum better than Millennium(Better ride, and unbeatable views of Lake Erie). The Maverick is EASILY better than all three of them. Best ride in the park. Don't underestimate that beast of a ride.

@gameboykid11 It was very bumpy. It was however a BLAST. Best view of Lake Erie I have seen at Cedar Point, and a CRAZY ride experience. The steep hills. Fast tunnels. I liked it a lot better than Millennium.

Just rode this for the first time today at 9:15 pm. Had to wait in line twice, first time it went down for a couple hours as I got to the station to wait for a car. Second time, I'd gotten in every other ride I wanted to get in tonight, so I waited for the front with a veteran ride warrior who had never bothered in her 15 times to go in the front. She and I were BLOWN AWAY by the experience, and would recommend the extra 1/2-3/4 of an hour to sit in the front! Best part: 0:47
