FighTimeHD, that is a good question! That video was shot 3 years ago, and those shoes are not available in White/Black at the moment. The good news is that later in 2012, the Onitsuka Tiger Wrestling 81 (same shoe with different name) will be re-released in White/Black. Expect them to be available this Fall. In the meantime, we just finished polling for our new colors of ASICS' Gable old-school wrestling shoes, and will be announcing results shortly. We will also have them in USA color in April.

@xJPCx1 There was a bug on our web site (fixed yesterday) where the estimated ship date was incorrect. The first shipment of shoes will leave our warehouse around the first week of October.

@pvtjokr I'm sorry to say that the teal Gables are no longer available. 2010 was the only year those shoes were ever offered and, at least for the next year, you won't be able to order any teal. We will more than likely be issuing another round of color voting next year, but the 2011 colors are Royal Blue/Silver, Red/Gold and Black/Gold. I'm sorry you missed the chance last year. Make sure to like our Facebook page or join our mailing list to be notified when the next round of voting will be!

@mmanjr Sorry, but the color combination that you're talking about has been sold out for 2 years or so. Our graphics team is just starting to mock up the new colors we'll be allowing our customers to vote for. @lentspark Sorry, but The Gable shown on the table of this video is no longer available. This is a limited shoe with new color combinations coming out every year. We currently offer a different white/red/blue combination that you can view on our web site.

Hi i would like to buy a pair of those on ur site, but how do i determine which size to get so that the fit is perfect and snug. I wear a size 11 to 12 depending on the shoe. My feet are exactly 11 and 3/4 inches in length exactly.

Unfortunately, during the 2009 Christmas season, we completely sold out of The Gable. If you'd like to buy a pair for next season, we're offering a pre-order option for the new color combinations which will be available in October of 2010.

i plan on buying a pair in october but ive heard from numerous people that these shoes do not last, and are not durable for wrestling. WIll they last at least a year and how do these shoes compete? im wrestling in college and id like to have some style but not if it sacrifices the traction of the shoe.

@fcknBird425 Durability of this shoe should not be an issue. Randi MIller, the 2008 Olympic Bronze medalist, wore this shoe in the Olympics and during the freestyle season and did not have any issues. You might not have the same technical heel support as the newer shoes; but after a few practices, this will be the most comfortable wrestling shoe you have ever worn, without sacrificing any traction!
