  • RAM!

  • you mean warm-up?

  • Is this RCC or BD?

  • RCC..which is basically BD and SCV fused together creating one of the most killer drum lines in the history of the universe

  • Of the universe. LOL. I agree with you Mazzus21.

  • Nah dude, PULSE!!

  • rcc is bd and scv goes to pulse jus lik how blue coats go to rythm x

  • i know i sound like an idiot asking this but seriously?

  • Mmm, a lot of those guys are crown. There were only 3 X peeps in coats last year in the battery. I think?

  • RCC im pretty sure. I just saw them in person at WGI today and they're incredible.

  • RCC has nothing at all to do with SCV lol. Only relation is that RCC and SCV have insane drumlines

  • Ach, Du heilige Scheiße!!!! Echt geil!!!

  • good god

  • i was at this show...i performed in it too

  • just curious as to why its called "shake hands with beef"

any relation to the band primus?

  • probably inspired by that. but could also follow the sexual connotation

  • bambam15: I just ran into Vega at the NAMM show: Got me to thinking about RCC/pulled up some of this video... jeez... you guys were SICK! ;-)

*I'm INFINITY'S co-founder/Program Coordinator by the way, and I luv's my guys but wow, you dudes are on a whole nuther' level! Keep killin' it/inspiring the rest of us. ;-)

  • Yeah, at :12, the tempo changes from 100bpm to 120bpm. It's part of the music.

  • wat are the age requiremants for rcc??

  • ok.........

  • haha I love these guys. On our finals performance, they came just to watch us and as we were getting on the floor, they yelled SO. CAL!!!!! haha, good times.

  • hey can i get the music for this

  • yo could i by chance get that sheet music from you ?

  • How do you do the back sticking hurtza thing towards the end? like where do you place the stick? i need help

  • It's called a hi mom. type in "scott johnson lick of the week hi mom" in the search engine

  • it's not the school's drumline, they are still an independent line so no you don't have to attend to join

  • but it's nice when you go to school there, and then practice after. the drive sux!

  • it actually IS the school's drumline and YES you must register for at least that class, but you only have to take that and not other classes if you prefer.

  • what? but they participate in the independant lines circuit.

  • so do other college lines...there just aren't very many.

  • i thought you're not allowed to be part of any school orginization to participate in the independent circuit though.

  • wgi doesn't have a college class anymore, but even when they did RCC still competed in both the college and independent classes.

  • your wrong they only practice there

  • who's wrong?

  • you might want to research a little more before you try to correct anyone. i know because i was in the line.

  • Scholastic is purely high school age and below and has to be a high school or middle school program. Independent can be any age within the requirements not affiliated with a high school. And yes, independent groups can be college lines. There's RCC, Penn State, Boston University, and plenty more.

  • Thank you...someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

  • do many people tryout to be in this drumline

  • yes they do

  • daumn like in a rating of 1-200 how many people tryout

i heard cymbal line was very hard to make also

  • depends what line your trying to make there was like 40 for the snare line this year not including the returnees

  • daumn thats alot do many try out for tenors or bass i bet thats a yea rite??

  • uh huh

  • you march for the line

  • no i dont i just have my connections

  • ohh tight y dont march dude

  • 3 reasons.

    1) not old enough

    2) probably can't afford the fees

    3) need to build my chops

  • how much fees does this line have to pay

  • around 1300, its hard if your the one who has to pay for it yourself without parent help haha

  • daumn ay but doesnt it depend on what season it is or the type of events your going to be going through the season

  • am i the only one who doesnt get the freaking thumbroll?? -.-

  • It takes a while. I dropped it almost every single time for a couple weeks until I got it.

  • haha i tried it 10 times to see how many i could do, i could only get it 2/10 times -_-x

  • I don't even know how to start doing it. Is there a guide somewhere.

  • are you talking about the visual thing at the very end? with the left hand?

  • seconded

  • world's best drumline...I think it's funny how they aren't military anymore, they're just chill...it's fine with me as long as they stay the best drumline

  • Hey! I was there in the corner behind the tenors, I remember watching that and seeing whom ever recorded this, anyway. I just forgot about that day, it was pretty cool
