THC alone is NOT safer than marijuana. THC alone acts like a psychedelic, and not of the nice kind, often inducing feelings of strong fear, paranoia and panic. Within marijuana, there is a large number of other psychoactive substances besides THC, with documented anti-psychotic effects, limiting the psychedelic effects and giving you a more smooth trip.

Oh? Do you have to die from something to consider it "harmful"? THC alone will make it much more likely for such feelings to occur, there is no doubt about that, especially newbies tend to freak out. There are so many stories of people going mental after the first time they try weed. and it's always good, green pot, that causes it. I find it reasonable to speculate this might be sativa with higher levels of THC. Harmful? Well, at worst it could turn you off weed and on alcohol!
