anyone can hit like him. but everyone doesn't have as good of a foot positioning and movement like federer does. thats what makes federer so dangerous
Obviously his aiming isn't bad too, but you might be right as the following vent are strongly influence by the basic of a movement; as you start an action into a motion it will eventually affect the late result.
Nice to point out his footwork, but if so, you must consider this a part of this swing and therefore, if you consider the influence with a result change, you must also say no one can hit like him because no one can be placed like he does.
I could spent my life writing about it; finding the exact words to describe the wonderful feeling of seeing this man in action on a tennis court... But, there is only 500 spaces left for letters and signs to fill.
I also have to deal with English and a majority of american readers... They made it too practical, too simplified and took away too much of its real value for it to be used for this purpose.
Of course, it does not insult the americans. I simply mean that there are some useful things Britain presently allows and some even more useful things no longer in use since decades.
Unfortunatly, we are limited. As nice as it can be expressed, the lines simply won't be enough.
Often, I have to resort to repeat words since the pronoun system is too repetitive. Not to mention that these pronouns are inefficient and inaccurate - if I may go as far as that.
Iagree, Safin when he is bothered can beat everyone the grand glams that he won he beat federer (AO semi) and sampras (USO final) on the way to winning them. He wasted his talent, once he got injured he fell out of love with the game.
i heard perfect point! xD

Roddick has the power.
Nadal has the spin.
Just need a bit more control, fluidity and gracefulness and the final result is Federer's forehand

Dude, you just grossly oversimplified one of the greatest strokes in all of tennis!
Like Emeril, "mix a little of this, throw in a bit of that and BAM!"
Come on man! Fed's forehand is exquisite! You make it sound like anyone can use that "recipe" for success-not even close to doing it justice.

I'm with genomesoldier7 on this
Whenever I see him play I cant get over how beautiful he makes tennis.
Its the way he moves its so elegant... ALL the other players look ungainly in comparison.
I also adore how he keeps his eye on the ball when it hits his raquet (esp during the backhand.
Here's to Roger getting his game back.

I totally agree! GOD that shot was beautiful! Damn!!! I cant stop watching it!
