i was at this game johan is the man it was so ill to so see him pitch the entire game the crowd was so hype...im glad i got to see the last win at shea

Thank you for posting the slide show. I, too, was fortunate to attend the last two games at Shea! While Shea deserved better on that fateful last day, Johan gave the stadium memories the day before. I was one of the 50,000+ fans chanting "Johan! Johan! Johan!" It was surreal! Thanks! Good-bye old friend!
trust me, Citi Field is nothing special. There is nothing Mets in the place except for the Apple, the NY Skyline in the back, and that montage on the Left Field Gate. THATS IT.

I'm saving up money to go down to NY with my dad next year to at least be at Citi Field in its 1st year. I'm looking forward to its opening.
I live in CA and would've died to be at this game, but luckily Time Warner's package keeps me involved with the mets as I've probably watched at least 150 games beginning to end (aside from Fox's exclusive rights and college getting in the way)

We took Shea in for the last time and we had a great time. We certainly were sad the Mets lost but we appreciated the team's effort and the day at Shea! I had so many fond memories of Shea when I was a 9 year old with my Mom and Dad and sisters. I love Shea and I love the Mets! What a great video and song used for your Amazing Mets video! I really enjoyed it as I enjoyed the last day at Shea with my son!
wow baseballismylife...suck it...ur just pissed that its september 28th and the yankees are playing even though their games have no meaning....they got eliminated, a while ago hahahaha
I went today too, got some greats seats , second row in mezzanine reserved 602. I was trying to find myself in some of these! It was a great way to go out at Shea for me. The Cowbell Man was right there when I left too!
