I'm British, I saw the riots. I think (personally) that these riots could not happen in America for two main reasons.

1) There is a different ethos in both Britain and America. I'm not saying Americans aren't capable of rioting, but they do it in a different way. I'm not proud of the riots, but English people tend to stick to their guns more - and usually for too long, and they get arrested. I don't mean to be ignorant saying that, but I've got American and British friend, and they have diffe
