sea turtles eat plastic all the time, by accident, because there is so much of it in the oceans! It's gross and can actually kill young sea turtles when it blocks their gut.

"When the 9-year-old learned that 500 million plastic straws were distributed for use each day (that's enough to fill over 46,400 40 foot-long school buses each year!), he decided that this issue was too big to ignore."

I completely agree...must phase out plastic as much as possible...We survived in a non-disposable world at one time...it can be done.I think they should make computer cases out of cardboard...returnable glass bottles....
