  • what kind of camera did you use?

  • lol this is hella accurate

  • I would get so agravated when people said this shit when I lived in Seattle. I'm from upstate NY. YOU PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA what snow is. XD

  • Love it!!! I miss Seattle :(

  • I miss Washington so much -_-now I live in a town near Sacramento.... Lol the town I lived in was called North Bend but doubt anybody knows where that is.... I muss the snow too! Ok not really XD

  • Its time to move back to washington. :]

  • Dude I dont even live in washington state, but they are like the same way in Maryland! Funny video...and nice ass camera resolution by the way XD

  • SO TRUE

  • I miss Washington so much. Tacoma!!

  • I live near Seattle, and I laughed. And yeah, the air does have a smell when snow is coming.

  • You know you live in Washington State when you still wear shorts and a t-shirt when it snows or rains in winter time.

  • This is sort of true... I live close to Seatle... But if someone from California posted this I would laugh cuz they freak out about a little rain! (no offense!) :P but this was pretty funny!

  • i live close to seattle and this is almost like me xD

  • oh I'm moving to seattle in less then a month-in winter no less! Will this be me?!

  • I heard that Beacon Hill is just.. One big slide

  • haha love this. Part two and three get even better.

  • It's so true.... I do the "Is it snowing?" thing a lot.... Haha.

  • Hahaha... everyone who's saying its not funny, doesn't live in seattle. I live here, and I find this hilarious :)

  • "WAIT. Is it snowing?? *pause* No." haha : )

  • Soo truuueee

  • You CAN smell when it's going to snow!!! :P

  • I live near Seattle, and trust me, this is true. -.-

  • It's SO funny how the attitudes are so different from someone who live in Seattle versus Spokane when it comes to snow

  • x10 in bellevue haha

  • Only people from Seattle will get this...so true. LOL

  • haaa its true lol

  • That EB/RMI/WM down trash-bag he's wearing really made this realistic.

  • See how we spent the Northwest "Snowmageddon" on our channel.

  • I like your glasses. What brand are they? Thx

  • @kyro541 Thx! Warby Parker

  • come out to chicago! you guys wouldnt survive hahahah

  • I'm from the Seattle area and this is 100% true.

  • Well honestly I thought it was funny when he said he could smell it. I think we're related because I swear I can smell it too. It's cold and crisp. Refreshing.

  • This video makes sense to people who live in Seattle.

I, for one, live in Seattle, and this is very accurate.

  • Should be called, Shit this guy says when it snows in Seattle

  • Gotta love all the weird comments. The satire is completely lost on some. Yes, we know that it's not a ton of snow compared to what some places get--that's not the point! The Seattle area doesn't see a lot of snow, so people tend to flip out when it gets ANY. Basically, he's poking fun at Seattle stereotypes and gives an accurate depiction of what people in the area actually say. I thought it was clear; I didn't realize anyone would need it spelled out like this, but I guess I was wrong.

  • People who don't find this video funny obviously don't live in Seattle.

  • @AmberEHaley i live in seattle and this video is not funny

  • I think it's hilarious and so Seattle.

  • Meanwhile in Alaska...

"wooooo we only got 4 feet! I can wear shorts to school!"

  • Blur in the background was nice

  • The lens blur in the back looks terrible.

  • this is so bad

  • @hoboknife614

    Lolololololol

  • Shit a HIPPIE SAYS ...................CLICK ME

  • Oh no you got a little powder...im in Olympia and we got 14 inches...yea my cat disappeared in the stuff

  • Uhh?

  • Fuckin hipsters

  • Subaru Forester ftw! My car saved my life in the mountains.

  • Shit i say stfu

  • the guy was great. wth r u guys talking about. i say get a better camera man. lol

  • Like if you don't like hipsters.

  • I wish this was funny. He's trying too hard,

  • @uforob It's hilarious. I moved here from an area where 2ft of snow in a single storm was a normal winter day and school would not be cancelled. So I already found those comments funny when people said them.

  • @uforob I wish this was funny. then i remmebered it was cause idiot seattle people actually say this.

  • I'm pretty sure you work at Eddie Bauer :)

  • 108 people dont live in Seattle

  • haha jenni hogan

  • I don't even live in Seattle and I'm guilty of a few of these.

  • I love wit joks but thes is ga.....dum

  • O an one thing. When a snowflake is seen then school is shut down the next day

  • God dammit hes right

  • Hmmm. I've lived here all my life. You can't win. If you don't drive, you're a woos. If you do drive, you're an idiot. And yes - the hills are a huge factor. Honestly, I don't know where this guy gets his material. It must be a micro-population somewhere within the city. 15 snowplows? Do we even have that many?

  • Well WA is really a bunch of different people. You have the concrete loving people in the Seattle area. The loggers in the southwest. The Mexicans and farmers in the middle, and last the people in Spokane which is like the normalize people.

  • Get a better actor.

  • How about "I love the snow!" then "oh my god I hate the snow!"

  • Haha I don't get how we have such a good bus system (in comparison to most cities/surrounding areas) and people are too high and mighty to ride them...?

  • except seattleites don't pronounce "hashtags" as "hashtaygs"....

  • Omg :) well hey! its way worse today, like 6 inches ;p but yeah, we def says things like this LOL. 'you expect me to take a bus...' < i totally say that!

  • two inches of snow in Seattle and its the end of the world

  • @travman305 Actually is was about 7-8 inches with 2 inches more of ice coming. If you don't live in Seattle, you don't realize that it is an extremely hilly city. Any sort of snow makes it difficult to get around in.

  • "OMG 4 INCHES OF SNOW, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE"

  • Shit u want real snow go to like new York . Or come here to Indiana where we get fucked w/ a bunch of snow and it's barely 10 degrees and roads are icey and people are crashing and I still find my university is still open . U guys are sad man

  • He forgot "I hear they make a

special shovel just for the snow"

  • I really dont mind the snow and am really happy but im gonna kill a bitch if my wifi gets blacked out and im running out of food.

  • Comment removed

  • i. love. this.

  • im from seattle && when it snows this is all we do

  • silly seattle, you call that snow? youve never been east as far as spokane have you

  • @Jskierka2295 Spokane?!! they'd be lucky to have been past Ellensburg lmao

  • XD this is perfect!!!!! except you forgot flushing an ice cube down the toilet with your pjs inside out and singing snow chants

  • there is hardly any snow please try driving in montana right now it is 11 below zero and the wind chill brings it down to 31 below , we got 6 inches on the ground thats a spring morning here

  • this sucks, not even funny

  • @CherokeeBPM, if buses and bikes are the answer, we're all in trouble! I am glad that people take the bus, and if I worked downtown where it was a straight shot from where I live, I might be one of those people. :)

  • "I got a Subaru forester, so I should be good" "I feel like I can smell it when it snows" <--MY PARENTS

  • Should have been wearing a north face!!!

  • his eyes looked green. pretty!

  • this isn't everyone? awk.

  • As A former MT resident,, and a current Washington resident,,, These folks crack me up,,,but it is true,,!

  • This guy sounds pretty Minnesotan. We just know better.

  • Hmm... Part two was better

  • Hahaha. I guess, the snow got us to talk abt smth else other than the rain. Which is great! Because even the rain here is only drizzle. =^_^=

  • So prefect and true! Posted at ourseattle[dot]tumblr[dot]com

  • haha we have gotten so much snow in the past week.

  • Oh Seattle people make me laugh

  • This is so damn funny and very accurate.

  • Damn, I miss Washington...Y U SUCK ARIZONA?!

  • hah there were three hundred views less than 24 hours ago

  • I had walked outside and stopped to see if it was snowing before realizing it wasn't and just kept walking. Then I watched this.. obviously this is incredibly accurate! haha

  • It was funny because they cancelled school a couple days ago when we were on the school bus, on the way to school (it was actually snowing quite hard), and then we got back to my stop, which is on a pretty long hill, and the school bus was stopped, the wheels weren't moving, but the bus was sliding down the hill as we all got off. :)

  • These videos are great and so true... And us Washingtonians aren't good with driving in snow. Also, the Bellingham comment in your second video.. hahaha, holla Western Washington University. Yeah, we didn't get closed today... :|

  • @LilLyon no, not Washingtonians, it's you westies. We on the east side grew up in it, so we know how to drive in it. Now if we could just get the westies and californians to stop moving over here...

  • LOL this was just on KOMO 4

  • More ideas:

"Seattle just isn't prepared for this. We only have like 15 snowplows for the ENTIRE city."

"We just don't have enough de-icer."

"Remember that one year when we were being so eco-friendly and wouldn't use salt on the roads? We need to protect our fish."

"Why does the Metro bus always have chains on 24 hours before the snow starts?"

"I just keep drinking coffee to keep my hands warm."

"Should I leave a note? It was just a baby tap on their bumper... Uh, damn guilty conscience."

  • @petesspeaks well done

  • Nice collection of all the standard responses.

  • I have a Subaru, I'm good.

  • hahaha, Beacon Hill really is one big slide.

  • But most of the idiots freaking out are frm California...thy r complete idiots... :/

  • Lol we really do say shit like that..hahah..im in the east side and im not risking it dwn beacon hill or nike hill..shit is steep as fuck..lol

  • SOO GOOD! HAHA Northwest REPRESENT!

  • i love how is jacket is reversed every other scene lol

  • 75 people don't think Sedrow Woolley is a real place.

  • @ZNPracticalCat sedro wooley?

  • @ZNPracticalCat I live near Sedro Woolley (in Mount Vernon).

  • Nice First Ascent jackets!

  • "I'm always looking out for other people because they can drive in the snow, but like, I can get around" SO ACCURATE ITS SCARY.

  • @southernfeelings yeah, at least 75% of the time when people say that they suck at driving in the snow....growing up in the 303 FTW!

  • No joke I heard it in Auburn. "I have 4-wheel drive, but I just wish I had 4-wheel braking so I could stop better."

  • That was neither Seattle nor funny. Fail!

  • @SnobbishJade

    ...Really? It probably IS seattle.

  • @SnobbishJade Agreed. Most of it really had nothing to do with Seattle, except when he threw in a town name in an attempt to make it local. The only line I found funny was the 167 joke on the 2nd one.

  • I feel like this should've been funnier... like-- "Should I go sledding??... Hm.... Where's the nearest sled store?"

  • Comment removed

  • Ha--I smell snow.

  • I swear I saw this guy on king 5 this morning doing an interview about salting the sidewalks.

  • Fuck you subaru forester divers!

  • Oly did get hammered. We are trapped inside!

  • Love it.

  • "I think I can smell it" lol

  • hahaha, this is gold

  • Weak.....another crappy rip off

  • You look like Ryan Gosling. I approve. XD

  • OMG! So true! I now live in Minnesota...boy would they freak out here!

  • Hey, snow totally has a smell. :-P

  • hahaha YEP. :P Not as prominent in the eastern suburbs of Seattle, but I totally understand

  • 66 people don't like Jenny Hogan.

  • I'm so bummed I missed out on sliding down Denny.

  • GPOY

  • i live in seattle thatss whatts uppp

  • I live in Montana and had to take a Tan-tan to grab my newspaper this morning.

  • so proud to be a seattleite right now...

  • "You expect me to take a bus?" Lmao. I just said that yesterday morning. And I just told my friends that I am not walking down my hill to go see them. I'm such a Seattleite...LMAO.

  • SO TRUE.. -lives in Seattle-

  • This is how the people of Seattle react to snow....

OMFG, IT'S A SNOWFLAKE! WE'RE ALL GONNA FUCKING DIE!!!!

  • this is so true hahahahahahaha

  • HAHahahah YES.

  • "I'm always lookin' out for other people because THEY don't know how to drive in the snow but, like.. I can get around.." HAHA all day every day.

  • I think the one thing that no one points out about Seattle drivers who freak out in the snow, they are not native to Washington. They are all transplants.

  • Ok Internet, we are officially done with these "Shit _____ Say" videos.

  • I've heard almost all of these before. A couple today even. I'm just glad I don't work today.

  • Snowmagedden! hahahaaha so true!

  • Ahahahaha it's true!!

  • As a former Western Washintonian, and current Montanan, I find this to be not only hilarious, but superbly accurate.

  • Go Cougs Fuck the Huskies

  • @AhoyWillis Thanks for letting us know you were not accepted into UW and that you live in Pullman

  • @JamesVck Except for the part where I didn't apply to UW...I'm not even from Washington. I just find it natural to talk shit on my schools' behalf...we all do it.

  • I want to see these guys now, since it's snowed about 13 inches since this video was uploaded.

  • this is every guy i know haha

  • One thing missing from this video: "You expect me to take the bus? Why would I use the bus if it takes me 2.5 hours and a few transfers to get somewhere I can drive in 20 minutes?" :)

  • I DO drive a Subaru Forester! catch me drifting in the costco parking lot PACE
