You clearly aren't a musician to come out with something like that. If you can't sing in tune then you can't sing. If you're not singing in tune then you're not singing in key! The purpose of auto-tune is to alter the pitch of a person's voice to match the correct notes of the particular key. Auto-tune makes that judgement for you. All you need to know is the key of the music!
