My dad had a 69 Roadrunner in the mid 80's. When he got it, it only had a 318 (383 was the original motor). That 318 died a short while later, so my dad bought a 77 Chrysler Newport with the 400 and put that in the Roadrunner. A few years later, he wanted to put a 440 from a 77 Town&Country wagon into it, but before he could, the rear suspension rusted apart and came up through the body, or something like that. It was basically completely rusted out. Such a shame.
