  • I wish they allowed this battle to go into overtime.

  • These guys are just great individuals. I love how they're so good at what they're doing and so humble. I'm really happy watching this.

  • All French!? Whatever!

  • Ah, this was amazing! Best battle ever, in my humble opinion. They had fun, they were relaxed, no stress. It looked awesome. I'd love to see this without the dubbing and just subtitles, but I haven't had any luck, hmmm.

    Oh well, still love it.

  • Sakai's Predictions about the year 2001 was true! Don't you think?

  • Its the only times whereby the commentator gets to eat with the director!

  • 2:06 i love the little song one of them sings XD

fukui-san is great, such a cheeky shit. he should taste more often XD

    this was a fantastic episode.

  • Now that was entertainment. True entertainment. Beautiful.

  • what about the fried fish/dragon? is that just for decoration?

  • kishi is 106??? i thought i heard fukui-san say that

  • yaaa he did but i think that was a joke:)

  • @chidoriookami i think he was being cheeky XD

  • i just smile when the end credits play in this epsiode :)

  • now that... is sportsmanship :)

  • Amazing battle, so far my favorite.

  • man this sent tears to my eyes. it really moved me. thanx for sharing this vid.

  • do you think that's enough salt for kishi?

  • me think that was Chen but accdg to one judges the french taste more matured... the creativity for me is for Chen that was great... both team is great

  • chen and the team: chan chan cha chan~~~ hahas epic

  • XD i loved the lil tune chen-san(or maybe more than one of them) were muttering wen they lit the mountain XD

omg i fell in love with the show all over again

  • well, Kaga-San also said he preferred French food over Chinese food by a hair in one of his other episodes...sometimes when the food is really that good it's just personal preference.

  • the reason french win is because french are mostly fine dining and romantic so they are good at fine dining dishes an chinese dish are mostly for family where you eat as a family and joy together so french will win ^^

  • Having a your own saucier makes for an ace in the hole. But, both teams were great, It's amazing to watch pros create dishes on their own time - something that doesn't usually happen in a resturant context.

  • i wish they had room for another team.

    japanese vs chinese vs french

that would have been pretty epic.

  • @jash808

I think it would have been one sided if Rokusaburo would have come there and showed how to make food. He is king of the Iron Chefs and also Japanese food would have reigned because of the tasters :)

  • hmm, thought the chinese had it locked

  • the old lady said the the french food is more mature...they serve ice cream. damn bitch

  • Made with liquor. It was never cooked, the ice cream was still alcoholic.

  • How many dish the french make with the main stuff? Two.. they shoulp have lose

  • I counted at least 4 with the special ingredients (turtle, pork and bananas.

  • haha I love Fukui-san

  • hahaha at 2:10 when they're lighting the mountain. Someone goes : dun, dundundaduuun!

  • I think that was Chen.

  • This and the sushi battle are my favorite episodes.

  • Chen was just funny making the soup!?!?!

  • If they used the judging system where they drop the best and the worst score, the Chinese team would've won it.

  • NOOO! I was hoping the Chinese will win.. great match though

  • 1:17 LOL

  • i love how all the chef think the result is tie, also chef Chen is very humble , and chef Sakai too, i think is good they tie but i love the Chinese team more, from creativity also technique they really impress me the most , i study carving too and it's reallllllyyyyyy hard and they make it look so easy

  • This has got to be one of the top 2 or 3 battles on Iron Chef ever. I enjoyed this one so much because the chefs all looked like they truly enjoyed themselves and were having so much fun, and thats what cooking is all about, fun and sharing with good friends

  • Hurray for Iron Chef!

  • another one of the best battles from Iron Chef

  • "Whooaaaaaaa...."

  • both of them should have won

  • Watching this made me so happy.

  • This episode makes me sad that this show isnt around anymore

  • There were so many awesome shows back in the 90's

  • "a hundred and six now so.." hahaha he burned her

  • Booo the Chinese should've won it. I could just imagine tasting that salt pork.. yuuum.

They should've won w/ just that presentation alone though. Looked alot better than the tacky display the French team did.

  • 100% !!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't hate on the French team. Their dishes are not tacky. Neither the Chinese team. They are more appealing (French dishes) and the chinese is too. To me, They are both winners.

  • What an honor to sit down at a meal like this.

  • AGREE AGREE! GOSH!!!! both team are reallly goood!

  • I want a recount. Chinese won that one all the way! Could there be some bias there?

  • I think there was some politics here, because in the first episode, Kaga said his absolute favourite dish up to the 2,000th was Chen's Ebi Chilli. So maybe this was in the interest of balance. I agree that the Chinese should have won though!

  • lol wow the announcer is really an ass...

  • hands down! this is the best iron chef episode ever!!!

  • One of my top 3 favourite episodes...

    WOW!

    - Al!

  • best episode after the new york one.

  • Why didn't he just announce them both winners like the 300th challenger battle?

  • my respects to all the chefs in this episode !

  • Thank you for posting this. Great great episode and a worthy culmination of one of the greatest shows!

  • best episode ever!

  • WHAT THE? Did someone say that the older judging woman was 106 years old?! Wow she doesn't look that.

  • lol he was joking...

  • I wonder what the Chairman eats on "regular" days?

  • white rice ;)

  • Wonderful episode! Thank you for uploading these shows! Thank you Thank you! Please continue!

  • IT'S A TIE!

  • Yes, and since it was a special event, Kaga was given a moment if selfishness, as he put it, and cast the deciding vote for the All French boys.

  • Honestly, Kaga had to cast a tie-breaking vote... I don't think they had a game-plan for an overtime battle for 6 chefs... how many ingredients would they use? How much time would they have since the original battle was 90 minutes... It's easier to just break the tie. :)

  • it was probably out of respect and give the old geezers the win ;) lol

  • Unbelievable episode! Yum!

  • The french always win....

  • I'm HUNGRY

  • Thank you for this. This was my favorite episode every. Just awesome, thank you.

  • Yes! All French wins! Go Ishinabe and Sakai!

  • Aww...I wanted chinese to win. Oh well. GREAT battle!

    Woo hoo!

  • Thanks for part two!

  • Poll: Ur fav. iron chef? why? For me its Chen. Bein a chef myself i know the importance of flame control & manipulation. Chen is a true Chinese master & besides...its always good to have a chef dats always smiling...Cheers~ :)

  • I like Morimoto, his style of cooking is very interesting to me.

  • The announcer called them The Three "Mouseketeers," instead of Musketeers. Hilarious!

  • glorious:D
