The officers were cleared of any wrong doing, as they should have been. The kid tried to sue but he is a con artist that looks for trouble and he can't keep a lawyer. Last I heard he was up at UCB and the police there have had several run-ins with him.

Every officer is trained in the use of tazers. They all have to be tazed as part of thier training. They KNOW full well it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to stand while and right after being tazed. This isn't about compliance. This is about MAKING A POINT and TERRORIZING CITIZENS.

This is where armed citizens can effect change. These officers needed to be confronted by 9-10 armed citizens that are prepared to kill them, when they pull this shit. Law enforcement is out of control in this country. This kind of thing is all over ytube from all over the country. If the crowd attacked the officers, disarmed them and executed them on the spot I would applaud their actions. Our Founding Fathers wouldn't tolerate the police/thugs we have today.

He probably just got out of a political science class and was on a high horse. He was trying to make a scene and did. They just tased him twice! You cant tell him directly afterward to stand up..I'd like to see them get tased and then stand straight up. Even in the police academy when they get tased they get layed down on their stomachs and rest. I think the student should be entidled to money because of the trauma he has gone through. This week it was announced the lawsuit against UCLA by the student was settled. The investigation found the officers acted within the law and school policies. The student didn't get a dime. The student will be allowed to graduate only if he remains out of trouble, and in the future airs his grievances through appropriate channels.

I saw a picture dated during the WW2 era of 2 German troops standing guard of about 400 jews that were waiting in line to board a train to the concentration/death camps and all they had to do was rush those two guards and they could have escaped, but they did'nt and I'm sure the majority if not all of them eventually died.
This scene in the Library reminds me of the do nothing mentallity the Jews had when faced with tyranny & death. Why did'nt those 30 plus students rush those 3 or 4 guards?

The officers were cleared of any wrong doing, as they should have been. The kid tried to sue but he is a con artist that looks for trouble and he can't keep a lawyer. Last I heard he was up at UCB and the police there have had several run-ins with him.

Every officer is trained in the use of tazers. They all have to be tazed as part of thier training. They KNOW full well it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to stand while and right after being tazed. This isn't about compliance. This is about MAKING A POINT and TERRORIZING CITIZENS.
Some people say why not just show ID, what do you have to hide? will you say that when they are doing house to house searches?
