The pub games is a waste of your microsoft points to be honest. I bought this before fable 2 and thought.. the gold is useless since everyone knows the gold trick and the prices will probably be only good for the starting of the game before you reach anything more expensive. The games frustrating and it seemed to me that I'm always in debt in it.. all because of "luck".

ya but the game play with a friend kinda sucks. You no longer have full 360 degree look around. You camera is suddenly fixed and you have to aim your character to look around. Sucks in a battle were you have multiple enemies you are fighting.

Wow... In the first fable all you needed to get every legendary item was the game and thats it.

Now if you want all the one-of-a-kind items you need limited edition, the DLC, this arcade game, you have to play some flash game on the site, and tons of other crap...

Is getting xbox live worth it for me? Here's the deal, I already have a ps3, I've just bought a 360, but every non-exclusive game, I'm going to get on ps3. And the only non exclusives I'm going to get that are out now are fable 2, dead rising, too human and beautiful katamari.

It all depends really. Fable 2 and Too Human can both only be played online in a two player Co-op style of play. If you know others who play the games, then it'd be fun to play Co-op with them. If you don't know anyone willing to play Co-op with you, it isn't really worth getting Xbox Live Gold. Xbox Live Silver may be better for you as it's free, and you can still download demos and in-game content.

Yep, the only thing Gold adds is online multiplayer. You can download anything with a Silver membership, but some things such as game content require you to pay with Microsoft points. You can buy points in a game shop, or you can buy them on Xbox Live. It's easy to set up Xbox Live. It's exactly how you just said. Plug in, register and there you go.
