DIRT 3 + Thrustmaster T500 RS

Yo, just ordered the t500, i know the pedals can be mounted like yours but can they be reverse mount on the 45 degree playseat pedal plates?

hey there, I've just reinstalled Richard Burns Rally (PC) and it is truly amazing with The T500RS.. Dirt 3 is also pretty good if you like arcaders.

Is it true that you can't play any older PS3 titles with this Thrustmaster ? The FIRST Dirt is one of my favourites would that title be incompatible ?

@SuperDuperUberTuber yah the only games that support t500 rs are dirt3 and gt5. the wheel itself may work with older titles but the force feedback and other features will not.

@ABOOODY0 make sure no other controllers are turned on and just the t500 is plugged in. It works as you can see in my video and many others are using it so there is something wrong your friend is doing.

@jinsaitoda Looks like a damn good wheel... I don't think this wheel would be compatible with too many games other than following: Dirt 3 , Gt5, F1 2011, WRC 2, and maybe shift 2 unleashed.... i'd say the same for the Xbox and their new CSR wheel... this is all from the console point of view though. I hear the CSR is multiplat though... think you would get that one?

yeah i did a try today on pc with my g27.i pluged with my tv all system and i love it.its amayzing steering with wheel.love every aspect.lol finished first seasson and unpluged whole thing.will wait for my tomorrow ps3 copy . Great game

how you like ps3 version man ? i saw one video dirt3 ps3 vs pc vs xbox and there worst was ps3:S im waiting for mine ps3 copy what was dispatched 19th from shopto:S my g27 washed from dust and waiting also.nice video anyways

@Viikholm don't believe those videos, as far as xbox vs ps3 is concerned. of course pc will be better but you most pc users will be playing on a smaller pc monitor and not a much larger tv, also they will most likely be playing from a computer chair and not a nice setup or a comfy sofa.

i saw some videos and screenshots from lens of truth and there is not much difference, sure things are a little blurrier on the ps3 due to all the post processing but once things get moving everything is blurry

Great video, I've got the T500 too, I'm thinking of getting Dirt 3, how does it compare to GT5? and I know GT5 is Simulation and stuff, and they say Dirt 3 is not realistic, what's your opinion on that? And last question hehe, how does the FFB in GT5 compare in general (not just in rally) to the FFB in Dirt 3?

hey i need some answers from u, i play on keyboard or joystick, no matters. but im finding some dificulties about the Grip. the steering is so sensitive and i spin around the stage like HELL :)))) can any1 tell me how to configure the steering settings

@shekjer87 i tihnk if you turn down the steering scaling to zero or a lower value. but i'm not sure if that option is available for keyboard setting. you should just connect your ps3 or xbox control pad to your pc to play i think will be better.

@shekjer87 yes i've read some posts on the internet, and it helped a little, still its hard and it will take time till i get used to the controls, u know going from NFS to Dirt is very difficult :)))

my force feedback isnt working with dirt 3 and t500 rs any ideas guys works fine on gt5

@choppertbe your wheel works but not the forcefeedback? try exiting out of the game and using your t500 buttons to start dirt3 instead of the control pad

i've played with the T500 on the GT5 rally courses quite a bit and yah you do feel more detailed feedback from Dirt 3. In GT5 the feedback from rally is pretty much the general feeling throughout the whole lap if you know what i mean, the same vibrating pattern over and over. In Dirt 3 you feel more variety since the surface changes it's consistency throughout the rally courses, there are also potholes and other details in the track such as dips that you can feel.
