  • Hal Hail Hail the avocado.

  • aguacate!!!!!

  • that avocado is a legend...it looks like it's floating or something o.o

  • @yayshe that's probably because it is floating

  • class big sound

  • i like skillet version of comatose

  • @ThePhoenixFlash theyre completely different

  • Pearl Jam is one of the best rockbands ever!!!!

  • @ChrisBudapest007 Pearl Jam "is" the best rock band ever...actually they are considered a grunge band.

  • @ghettsulfer grunge..isn't..rock? are you..what? The sense of that statement is...0.

  • @dalcyte Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is a subgenre of alternative rock that emerged during the mid-1980s in the American state of Washington, particularly in the Seattle area.

So technically, it IS rock... a sub of it.

  • @dalcyte

I was saying that they were actually a Grunge band and not a rock band. PJ is my favorite band.

  • @ghettsulfer I bet they don't consider themselves a grunge band. They are stuck with that label, but if you asked them they would tell you they are a rock band. Plain and simple.

  • @Box7337

They were formed in Washington, which was the state that started grunge music. And rock band from Washington, mainly Seattle, would be considered a grunge band. Nirvana (Aberdeen, Washington), Foo Fighters (Formed off of Nirvana which came from Washington), Soundgarden (Seattle, Washington), Screaming Trees (Ellensburg, Washington), The Melvins (Montesano, Washington), Alice in Chains (Seattle, Washington), and of course.. Pearl Jam (Seattle Washington) And many more great bands!

  • @ghettsulfer Grunge is just a label picked up MTV types to market any music comming out of the Pacific Northwest at that time. All the bands you listed have distinctly different sounds. Melvis and Nirvana had more of a Punk feel, Soundgarden and Alice and Chains more of a metal feel, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees more of a classic rock feel. The bands in general were anti glam rock, and all from the same area, maybe thats the grunge part. Call them grunge if you choose, I choose rock :)

  • @Box7337 No, the word "Grunge" was started by a man named, Mark Arm. Singer for Green River. He would use the word to describe their genre of music. Which later on caught on to rock bands from the Seattle area.

  • @ghettsulfer WASHINGTON FTW

  • @ChrisBudapest007

    Grunge*

  • @ChrisBudapest007 I hope you meant "THE" best band. LoL

  • 2006 field in california very hot but then i heard PERAL JAM and i felt free

  • why no comments on this? this is my day.

  • they didnt wont to promote themsealfs with No code, you know, that whole TV crap, but with avocado they did more,so more people can hear about them.they go politicial and stuff, does it suprise u that avocado is so popular? As a fan,to me No code is Very special,to be honest, each album is very diffrend and original, but i realy cant tell that avocado is overated. They just have a new ideas over and over, thats why they are so special, love PJ,always will, see U in sammer!UR 4EVER!!!

  • @Anna5707 hell yeah!!!!

  • @Anna5707 hahaha lol

  • Overated album........how come No Code gets dismissed and this is considered a comeback??? Phffffffffhh!! Please!!!

  • @23everybreathyoutake No Code was the beginning of Pearl Jam's relative (to themselves) commercial demise. It was their first Album not certified multi-platinum. So it definately was not a comeback album, quite the opposite really. In fact Pearl Jam have never commercially made a comeback. The Pearl Jam album you dubbed the comeback album only sold 700,000 copies while No Code has sold 1.4 million. Pearl Jam are fantastic but will never garner the spot light like b4.

  • @Box7337 times changed. u dont see bands selling 10 million records anymore. In my opinion No code is one of their best albuns
