@viliuxss It's a little old and not quite as awesome as the previous Burnout games (or Burnout Paradise...but that game is tough to top anyway).

But still, Burnout is Burnout and that alone makes it pretty fun.

@viliuxss I suppose I like it a bit more than Burnout Revenge, though. Burnout Revenge lets you hit traffic that's going the same direction as you are. I always thought that was sort of stupid and this game doesn't have that feature (if you hit a car, you crash; period). So it's about racing and dodging traffic, which is what Burnout should be about anyway.

There isn't a Crash mode but I don't know if that really matters to you or not. To me, it doesn't. I play Burnout to drive fast and drift.

How do you keep use burnout?

You mean how do you Boost Chain?

Just drive into oncoming traffic, perform near misses, or drift while you're already using boost and it'll fill up that secondary bar behind the Burnout meter. When it fills up and your current Burnout meter empties, it'll refill to max again.

Perhaps not, but it's made by EA rather than Criterion Games (they were busy making Paradise at the time).

I wasn't too thrilled with the game when I rented it; it just seemed off somehow. The four versions of "Girlfriend" didn't really help.

How is drifting performed in Burnout? Just tap the brake when you approach a curve and then lean the stick in the direction you want to turn...its pretty arcadey.

Its decent. If you're a Burnout fan I say get it used (its better on the PSP, I think but if you have to go with the PS2 version that's okay too).

If you just casually play Burnout, though; I say just jump straight to Paradise.
