  • Fat prick , all you can watch is movies like twilight which doesn't need any fucking brains to think , get a life .

  • every movie of nolan sucks

  • @Mercenary78

Every post you make sucks, you little pathetic retard! Oh yeah I forgot, you don't even watch most movies, except star wars, you just follow asshole's opinions on batman when you don't know shit all about batman yourself. Your mind can only absorb simple movies, like the campy crap taht passed for batman in the 90s. The animated dvd Under the Red Hood was awesome. Nolan's batman films are awesome. Yo're a fucking loser.

  • @Mercenary78

You must be the sole reject in Amsterdam who has something stuck up his ass to whine about the dark knight and Begins! Do you even hate Nolan, or just follow that absolute troll loser here to suck up like some bitch!?

  • PELOTUDO

  • dick

  • If this man had never heard of this movie and stumbled across it on Netflix, the next day at work he would be bragging to all his fellow cashiers that he found the coolest movie ever. Since it was so popular, his cynical side comes out so now he hates it. People like this surface after any majorly successful film come out. They get off on thinking they are making people think they are unique and insightful, but really they are just trying to get passive attention. Get a life

  • "We can't just make up the ending by ourselves; it needs to be told to us." WRONG.

Maybe you just didn't like the movie because you lack the ability to think independently.

  • Not many good arguments here man

  • I respect your opinions, but it almost seems that you are looking for the slightest things to complain about. I mean, what's the big deal with deciding the ending for yourself? Maybe is still was a dream. It doesn't mean you wasted your time just because it didn't have the typical "happy" ending. You mentioned the Wizard of Oz similarity at the end, do you think you wasted your time with the Wizard of Oz because it was all a dream? Thats film. It doesn't always end how you want it.

  • My brother who is an idiot, thinks this is the best movie ever. All idiots love it because it blows their mind. However if you get it right off the bat, you say "this makes no fucking sense and is complete bull shit!" My problem with it is, Nolan is obviously talking out his ass the whole time.

  • @xXGhilliedxSamuraiXx

Yeah, and it's clear you are a complete idiot if you thought inception was crap! It's a great movie so watch it again and stop posting here to feed this asshole reviewer's attention!!

  • I fell asleep during the action scenes.

  • I enjoyed Inception quite a bit, but I do find it funny that you're attacking it for plot holes when Memento, Batman Begins, and Dark Knight were FULL of plot holes and badly staged scenes. I love all those movies, but none of them stand up to scrutiny.

Like, um ... why exactly did Batman have Gordon drive the Batmobile to take out the bridge instead of doing it himself? Knock the bridge down and it ruins Ra's plans, right? Smart thinking, Batman. lol

  • I completely and totally agree. Shockingly bad butchering of a great premise and a well thought of & cleverly convoluted storyline.

  • the reason a "kick" wakes you up is because you feel like you're falling and your body's natural response is t recover, causing you to wake up. therefore, the van scene that you mentioned should have woken then up the moment they left the bridge...

  • nolan is a veary overated director

  • aussie wanker. your a wanker. this movie was awesome. your just dumb, because you don't understand it. you want movies to be predictable.

  • Inception was badass. I guess some people just don't know good movies, probably those guys rather watch twilight and sucker punch

  • since when do you guys let matrix geeks tell you what is cool. grow some balls, and tell these freakin nerds those movies are crap. do you not remember slapping guys that wore trench coats after that movie matrix. if you guys noticed, they say smart people like the movie, but all you see on here is stupid people who rave about this piece of shit. thanks south park for seeing how ridiculously stupid this movie is and making fun of it. i see the nerd population is starting to gain a voice, beet em

  • Im just gonna go ahead and say it because I couldnt help myself, but your a fucking retard. Every complaint you mentioned in this video is explained in the fucking movie. If you notice dumbass, the top just starts to give out, he simply just ended that scene right before it did, it was added just for suspense. I suggest you actually make sense of your complaints before posting them online. One thing that I love about Christopher Nolan is that he separates his fans from retards.

  • @Giostarship I'm not even a fan of this movie and I know you completely missed the point of the ending. The top wasn't the important part. The important part was that Leo's character wasn't worried about it anymore, he's left the entire inception dream infiltration thing behind. He's moved on and now he's going to enjoy his life with his kids regardless of whether it's a dream or not.

  • @00Petulia00 He wasn't worried about it anymore because he knew it wasn't a dream, thus the top starts to give out, which it barely moved if he were to spin it in a dream.

  • @Giostarship Cobb doesn't believe it's a dream, or at least he doesn't care if it's a dream or not anymore, which is the important part. I've watched the clip of the ending several times and I'm not seeing where you think the top is about to give out. It moves as much as it did in Saito's dream three minutes before.

  • @00Petulia00 First of all, there's nothing in the movie that says he doesn't care thats its a dream or not, second of all, reason being is because he knows it's a dream. If you watch the totem spin in a dream, you'll notice it spins very still and it keeps spinning still. That's how he tells that he's in a dream. In real life, the totem gives out. At the ending scene, the totem starts to give out before the scene ends.

  • @Giostarship The director says he doesn't care any more. And I am watching it spin in a dream, it moves exactly like it does in the end. Seriously, I'm watching right now, as I type this. It's the same movement. The only difference if we get a close up on one and not the other.

  • I'm not gonna say you're an idiot. but every single one of your arguments could be argued against.

  • to be fair about the car thing repeating you did spend 1m40s of a 10m24s video repeating how they didn't need to repeat. plus (and sorry if this was already brought up) i think you kind of missed the mark i feel like this movie was more just eye porn than anything else even the trailer that you talk about its just that music and effects happening which i feel is important because if it was about the story they would have had quotes rather than brrrrraaahhh street spinning around you

  • The thing I really hate about Inception(and The Matrix for that matter) is that when anyone says they don't like the film they are instantly declared ignorant without given any chance to explain themselves. I know that's not technically a part of the movies, but it still ticks me off.

  • I am pretty sure , that you were prepared for all the criticism you'd receive after you uploaded this video on youtube. I am a nolan fan...and i thought this movie was an amazing approach to the sci-fi genre....well some people dont like this movie and make excuses that there are "holes" in the plot....well those "holes" are supposed to be filled up with the audiences imagination or brain work rather...

  • Anyone who doesnt like Inception should just stick to watching Bucky Larson, enough said.

  • the ending shows that times runing out you know wen you see a moovie wifff a bomb nd it keeps showing the timer to put that suspense that omg if they dnt make it they blow up well that just an example the car falling in the river is supose to be a really strong kick that if they dont findish their job theyll wake up ..

  • I agree, I was confused about the whole LIMBO thing to. They said, "If we get killed in a dream we go down into LIMBO. Limbo could be infinite, if you wake up from it, then your mind could become scrambled." But, when Fisher got shot, he went down into limbo. However, Cobb and Ariadne gave Fisher his own kick down below and rescued him. Also, when Cobb and Mal were in Limbo, they woke up from it by killing themselfs. So to me it doesn't seem like LIMBO is much of a danger. I still like the movie

  • @ghost187don well the thing is when you go to limbo time goes really slowwww so imagine what its like having to dream for about 50 years mayby the only way to pass time can be imposible mayby youll end up loosing your snese of reality .. i hope im not beeing a douche bag i just hope you can understand

  • @slipknotsblade I get it... but you can still wake up from it. Like, Cobb was in "Limbo", he woke up from it, and he was just fine. However, Mal woke up and lost her sense of reality b/c of you know who. Only if you perform "Inception" on someone, then it could change everything about them. If you go deep enough into the subconscious dream state, then you could lose your sense of reality and become "Lost in your or someone else's mind for a long time." You can still wake up from it and be fine.

  • It only sucked because you are stupid.

  • You need to look at the movie again because most of your plot holes aren't plot holes.....so yeah

  • wow ur metaphors comparing the film to AIDS and holes in oil pipes was ....funny?...you must think the movies Troll 2 & 3 are gods gift to green earth.

  • I accept your opinion, but my opinion is that I disagree with you... And those plot howls, that just you not paying attention or just not understand....

  • Love that grasshopper scene, so Freudian. Just like a real dream!! But what did it mean?

  • My favorite response that I get when I say this movie was awful is "You really need to sit and think about it and watch it a few time to understand it!" Dude. This movie was SHIT. This guy seriously hit the nail on the head, just absolutely FILLED with holes. There was nothing to intellectually grasp, it was just bad. Bad story line, bad underlying message, predictable ending. BOOOOOOOOOO

  • i want to see you killing your own wife even if its just a dream xD well its jour opinion but i think you just talk bullshit xD

    INCEPTION FTW!!!

  • lol "like AIDS...but worse". sounds like Ali G.

  • Comment removed

  • I really had high hopes for this one. But damn did it suck. It was the first film I ever saw from Nolan, and I am never going to see another one.

  • @StudioGoldsmith Noooo Nolan is a fantastic director, Watch "The Prestige". Trust me.

  • Inception is an overrated piece of trash. It's so pretentious on so many levels.

  • HAte to say this but the reviewer really didnt get some key parts of the film, but to be honest alot of his points are still relevent. I got most of the plot points and the ones i didnt I have read on and still think the film was weak. The stakes really didnt matter and at the end of the film I just felt like so what?... To be honest I feel Nolan is is overrated. I liked insomina, prestige was ok but didnt like the twist and momento is great thats about it. The batman films are overrated

  • Inception was not good at all. It was a cool concept, but they tried to make it way too over the top. While it was over the top, I also found it boring. The thing that makes me dislike the movie the most is when the people who like the movie say "You just don't like the movie because you aren't intelligent enough to get it". I understood the movie, and still thought it was bad. Inception is a film that only people who want to look intelligent will brag about.

  • @JakeEwing5 I liked the movie because it made me think. There was stuff in there that I didn't get! A good movie is one that leaves the audience thinking about it long after watching it, whether you liked it or not. Inception, to me, was excellent because it took its time and made the audiences think, because not all the answers were explained. But I agree, just because you thought it was boring doesn't mean you're stupid. Those people are ones trying to ACT smart.

  • @quickandcool Very good point. And thanks for not going "Inception rocked, you're f**king stupid!" like most people who reply to comments would. Thumbs up for you!

  • @JakeEwing5 haha thanks

  • @quickandcool You can't really judge a movie if u didn't understand it. If the movie is too complex to understand this never proves movie's a brainer. A lot of movies contain inconsistencies while trying to pretend to be a brainer. Inception is one of them. Though I agree with you that a movie must challenge audience mentally and emotionally.

Cobb can make a billionare dissolve his fathers empire but can't get a visa.

How could Cobb and Mal live in dream so much without eating or drinking?

  • @quickandcool

thought provoking movies like the man from earth are easy to follow and comprehend. inception is poorly directed as there are multiple plot-holes.

  • @JakeEwing5 The same goes for the Matrix in my opinion at least

  • How do you know for sure that the top never stopped?

  • leo came out of limbo and he was tops??? did you even watch the movie he displayed similar symptoms to that of a drug addict

  • wow bro, you want pure mindless entertainment and no thinking behind your movies! the fact that he doesn't show the top fall over is creative because it leaves it up for audience interpretation...things dont always have to be told to you, ignorant, drone, bastard! all of those "holes" as you put it so unintelligently have explanations i can give you upon request! you're retarded and its people like you that ruin the movie business buy craving remakes and unoriginality, waste of a human

  • @TheShaft245 Um actually his major gripe seems to be that the film was overly simplistic and silly, not that it was too complicated.

  • @Dilky01 how so?

  • All of the characters serve the plot well but that's about it. The dialogue is horrible and only meant to explain things. Drama and tension is typically created by caring about a character enough to want them to get out of a situation. In "Super 8" there are plot issues here and there, but the movie got me to care about every single character. Inception's characters don't act like humans all the time. They do cool stuff and are badasses at times, but when they talk... they're boring.

  • YOU DONT LIKE IT BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT SMART ENOUGH LOL. But seriously, the movie sucked.

  • MANY PEOPLE DONT LIKE INCEPTION BECAUSE THEY'RE TO FKING RETARDED TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT

  • @skyarexstudios

They understand the concept but think its stupid.

  • Ending - Wizard of Oz, really dude? I'll give you a freebie there and not rip on you for that.

Cobb left the top and walked off to join his kids - Cuz he deosn't care if he's in a dream or not, he just wants to see his kids.

The top kept spinning- That is not set in stone faggot, it did wobble dickhead. And the story isn't made up for you.

    SPOILER AHEAD!!!!

Did you not realize that the top was Mal's totem? Cobb had a different totem after her death. He dreams memories where he has a WEDDINGRING

  • @regulator619 i was just getting ready to say pretty much all of this when i already saw it on the video

  • Spinning top - It wobbled!

Limbo (Leo was there) - How else were they supposed to know that limbo existed or what effect it has on the mind. The stakes were still there because thats how he lost hi wife &There were three levels before limbo if he killed Mal in limbo against her will then why would she trust him later?

Van falling lets the audience know how much time they have to complete the mission thus ADDING TO THE TENSION you numbnut!

Im out of space read my next comment for a bitchslap!

  • And as you you ryan. You MOTHERFUCKER. 'OW ABOUT YOU 'AVE SOME TEA AND KRUMPETS ARSEHOLE?!?!?!

And as for the rest of the commenting audience. You all know that after the 3:25 mark, that this Pussie(Aussie) is full of shit and dead wrong. The ending was not the top spinning but the question of whether the top fell or not. And as for the rest of yuor accusations about inception. I will destory those in a seperate comment because i only have 500 characters to work with, DICK!

  • your an embarrassment to Australia fatman

  • faggot... it was a awesome movie...

  • Yeah but you're not supposed to get Inception from what I could see.

I've seen around 10 different interpretations from know-it-all douchebags who think everyone else is dumb and doesn't understand the film.

This critique wasn't very good because it assumes that Cobb got out of limbo in the first place and the whole film wasn't just some manifestation of his mind. '

Cleverly, this is also how the film covers itself from all mistakes and continuity errors.

  • @SpinDizzyMR Retard you do realize that Inception's puzzle has indeed been solved. You just had to look. Go google it and you'll see what exactly took place. I also hate how know-it-all douchebags liek you think you know everything. Go look up the solution to nception and then come back and tell emt hat the movie was trying to cover up plot-holes or continuity errors. DICKHEAD!

  • Inception was ok.. Not great.. Shutter Island is a million times better.

  • @ktornado Shutter Island was great, but come on man, Inception had everything.

  • @ktornado naaahh

  • @nameless12345 It's called an opinion dumb fuck..

  • @ktornado lol not it isnt he is saying something that is totally off by saying leo was just perfectly fine after he came out of limbo. get the fuck out of here and learn the difference between an opinion and a fact.

  • @nameless12345 You replied to MY comment which was MY opinion. Get a proper education before you get on the internet and start typing the dumb shit you have no clue about..

  • @ktornado my bad i though you was talking about what the guy in the video was saying and that "nnaaaahhhh" was just me messing about dont know why you have to start crying and shit about it

  • Inception is one of the worst movies i have ever seen because its just like Shutter Island

  • The Prestige owns TDK and Inception.

  • @JRHartly1984 The Dark Knight>>>The Prestige>>>Inception>>>Batman Begins

  • @Mr11MUSICMAN actually you retard all nolans films suck try again douchebag.lol

  • @Movieworldexpress Why are you stalking me?

Jesus Christ, gtfo you crazy fuck.

  • @Mr11MUSICMAN no one wants to stalk a fucking girlees retard like u loser.lol what you want nolan to rape ur ASSHOLE?lol fuck off and Gtfo LOSER!

  • @Movieworldexpress NO1 WANTS 2 STALK A FUCKING GIRLESS RETARD

    What the fuck is "girlees"?

And YOU'RE STALKING ME RIGHT NOW you smelly pussyhole, or didn't you notice?

  • @Movieworldexpress btw nice move in blocking me, I didn't know I couldn't give a negative opinion on your video.

IT'S MY OPINION, grow up and learn how to spell asshole.

  • @Mr11MUSICMAN MUSICASS1 your a sexless loser get some and get some better taste in movie you FUCKTARD! lol

  • @Movieworldexpress You sound like a mentally challenged 14 year old raging on me for no reason, you can't even spell saying "get some taste in movie" you dicksquash.

YEAH BATMAN AND ROBIN WAS DEFINITELY BETTER THAN THE DARK KNIGHT HERPDERP.

Even the director said it sucked and Tim Burton said his 1989 Batman wasn't that good.

Get the fuck over it and stop stalking me you child.

  • Are you fucking crazy this movie was awesome… you must use heroin…. You make me want to fuck your mom in the ass. And the ending the top didn’t keep spinning you don’t know if it was or wasn’t the point was to go off your own judgment because it started to wobble so you don’t know what happened. You are crazy I bet you loved the dark knight thought with that weak as drug overdosing homo heath ledger. IM GOING TO FUCK YOUR MOM IN THE ASS NOW YOU FAGGOT

  • the only problem or flaw i saw in this movie, was when they are in stage 2 and they fall asleep and there is no gravity cause of stage 1, then why in stage 3 IS there gravity? maybe i just dont see it. otherwise, i completely dissagree with this review. movie was epic and just outstanding. it should have gotten more oscars and it deserves a 10/10

  • There is a bunch of holes in this Video. For example, mal knew they were in Limbo but the world just wasn't enough for her, so cobb planted the idea that the dream was real. Which was why when she woke up, she thought the dream was real so she killed herself.

  • this movie was actually really stupid. as cool as the special effects were, the story is really weak. Nolan searches for possible complications to a seemingly simple problem in a base concept that is filled with holes and unachieved sentiment

  • well, while i actually liked inception, i guess everyone is entitled to your posting... and i actually quie enjoyed the humor! thanks for posting!

  • lol u mad bro?

  • like it or not, you gotta enjoy his humor haha thanks for posting

  • WHAT you said the movie was too long ten you ask if they should of told you at the end if it was a dream LIAR

  • Inception was lauded by critics for having a unique base concept.

    I call bullshit.

The idea of investigating dreams for meaning has been used for years in psychology, and even as a child I imagined machines that would allow me to infiltrate another mind. Astral projection basically claims the same things.

Dreams within dreams are also quite common concepts.

The movie was rather mediocre without the assistance of the supposedly amazingly deep story.

Inception was just a middle school daydream.

  • I didn't even finish the movie it was that bad :/

  • Comment removed

  • It was indefinite if he was in a dream at the end dip shit, because he was about to test it but didn't. It left you uncertain.

  • @YukonCorneleone You are a disgrace of a human. You need to refer to yourself as a collective because you are a sad loner with no friends. You're comment was the most pathetic ive ever read on youtube.

  • ok. you need to have a conversation with someone about this movie. because everyone has a different interpretation of it. this review is about why you didnt like the film. yet it seems like you tried to go for a review that "tears" apart the film piece by piece. i like you, even though you make me scream at my laptop, you are entitled to you opinion as well. i suggest watching redlettermedia, plinketts review of whatever movies. he is awesome:)

  • You're fat AND stupid...

  • read up on lucid dreaming and how it works...then you'll get where this movie is coming from. Nolan based this story on his experiences of lucid dreaming.

  • :( I don't think you got the ending. It was an open-to-interpretation ending. While that doesn't say your view is invalid, Nolan didn't make you watch a movie that ended as a dream. Inception sucked for a LOT of reasons. But I think you missed the big ones.

  • I'm so glad there are people out there that think it sucked.

  • Inception sucked!

  • 'Just SHOOT the fucking bitch" That gave me a good laugh.

  • ok man, just calm down. its just entertainment. its just a movie.

  • To me, it sounds like Inception annoys you because you can't fully grasp the concept of the movie. Inception is a movie that is open to debate and subjective interpretation ON PURPOSE. You are entitled to your opinion, and it is great to hear another way of seeing the movie. Personally, I love everything about it. Have seen it 4 times, can't wait for the 5th ;)

  • missed the whole point of the story line. What is real an& what is fake? & fake becomes reality if you really want it to. Like Madoff's ponzi scheme.

    PS: ITS HOLLYWOOD!!!!!

GAWD (mickey mouse's ears never changed direction - BOGUS!!!!)

    get over yourself dude

  • Inception's ending was meant to leave you feeling the way Cobb feels daily. That's what Christopher Nolen meant. He wanted you to feel uncertain just like how Cobb feels when he wakes up from a dream.

  • @ThemOldaBoys So Cobb is always dissappointed and bored?

  • but so... how long was the movie? 2 hours? if they hadnt explained there little dream rules every 20 minutes... or at all, it would have been 29 minutes long and a great art flick.

but noooooo. we gotta tell you how it works every five fucking minutes! and if you dont like that, your to fucking stupid! it was to fucking compex for your simple mind wrap around!

it wasnt! i got it the first fucking time you told me leo!!!

ohwait... thats what this guy is saying. i just saved you ten minutes.

  • thank god im not one of these people who get worked up over little things. i quite honestly would not be able to enjoy a lot of the things i do enjoy. look, i understand why you might think the movie was bad, but try chillin out and not being so picky and you might enjoy life a bit more.

  • oh. and learn how to talk properly. you suck at pronouncing words too.

  • lol i liked to see you try to make at least 1/100th of what Inception was.

here's my review on your "review" ... you suck.

  • You are right on.

  • Inception is amazing and creative but it's NOT Nolan's best.

  • it wasn't a dream it was left up to the viewers to say if it was a dream or not...

  • it might not all have been a dream... but to me that doesn't matter. Nothing was at stake. U can't die in a dream in limbo. I'm can't be rivetted by fake stakes in a movie.

  • worst youtube clip I've seen in a long time and watched tons of Dramatic-animals-clips. LOL

  • why is this fat monkey looking dupper slating a great movie ,dude shut the fuck up your a boring twat ,go and make a better film in it ,if you can open your mouth to slate a great movie you can at least go make something better ,same with music if u can slate it its coz u have a better arrangement of that song or the song truly does suck in this case though with nolans inception you sucking hairy balls all day

  • The movie was unnecessarily convoluted and mocking to the audience. Why not show what happens to the Totem at the end? Because Nolan himself is testing the audience, that is, asking: "Did you follow the movie well?" Otherwise, Nolan made it an "open ending," and the confusion was intentional. A movie whose purpose is sheer confusion? I'm not sure if that's so great... Also, why doesn't the third dream layer get affected by the lack of gravity in the second? Many more contradictions...

  • Ryanrating you are Moron, for once someone comes up with a original idea for a movie, goes through the trouble of casting some of the best variety of actors available, creates an amazing concept in general and the first thing you do is stomp it to the ground. If you had paid attention to the movie like other ppl did, the totem wobbles at the end but thats the beauty of it, It leaves you wondering what happens next does it fall or not. That was a superb ending, i would never change the original

  • @TRIDREES Its not an original idea. Its a terrible cast. He cast a variety of actors only to bring in more cash by appealing to a larger audience. Most of the movie is a set up for massive action set pieces. Your knowledge of modern movies is basic at best. You im afraid are the moron.

  • @booster330 no idea is completely original anymore. btw he cast the perfect actors for the parts. i mean, do you know anything about the actors? the only A list actor was leo. this movie also has the best story telling out of most movies from last year. (though i am a bit behind. just saw the fighter and loved it) its a deep movie that is easy to follow as long as you pay attention

  • LMAO at 5:47

  • Ryan your talking a load of horseshit cos how'd u kno the spinnin top stopped at the end, cos it cuts to black.

  • Inception did indeed suck.

Although it was satisfying purely as an action movie, but if you're looking for a good story or decent plot then this movie fails miserably. I think Nolan is overrated.

  • @HuckMeHard I don't think he is overrated. I think Inception is overrated. Want a mind bending film? watch Fight CLub!

  • @eckosama what? rewatch fight club. it isnt nearly as good as you think. then rewatch inception. with is infinitely better then how you think of it

  • @HuckMeHard Seems you're not a fan of Sci Fi.

  • @HuckMeHard awwww, are you upset that a movie made you use your brain for once herp derp

  • I didn't think the film sucked, it was a better film then a good few of the films out at the time.

But the fanboys of this film are idiots, if this film's so intelligent, why are the defenders of it foul mouthed morons?

The knee jerk reaction of "oh you don't get it/the film was too intelligent for you"

    WHATS NOT TO GET?

There isn't really anything to think about at any point in this film, you just have to pay attention throughout lest you miss one of the small but crucial details.

  • @SpinDizzyMR that seems to be the issue. i run into people who dont like it and say that it was too hard to follow. which it isnt. like you just said you have to pay attention.

  • he wasn't in in a dream at the end if you didn't finger that out and i do area with him about just killing his wife

  • at the end he wasn't in a dream not showing you that the top feel simple made you think about it and figure it out yourself

  • it wsent a dream if anyone didn't understand that

  • a fucking brilliant movie :D but the matrix 1&2 + Eternal Sunshines of the spotless mind + the Bourne Films + Total Recall = Inception

  • worst movie ever fuck

  • @sugus187

Lol. nice use of sarcasm. but there's a difference between talking, trolling, debating and critiquing. I think its only fair to judge something after fully understanding it. Its not nice to pass negative remarks on a person after only knowing him/her for a day, and it might also be unfair to judge a movie only after watching it once. I watched it three times and it was enjoyable every single time. thats my opinion. you are entitled to a differing stand. =P

  • The only thing I can say is good films raises controversy. I guess you could say that it is similar to a piece of art. It leaves room for imagination and possibility. It can be interpreted in various ways. It challenges your way of thinking. Good art questions, it does not answer, so does a good film. And this film's great. That's why everyone's debating about it. =)

  • The art of confusion is a new experience to the average audience, which is why this movie is so well praised. But look deeper: If you were to understand everything in this movie, the story and development would still remain top-class. Now, it's a matter of opinion whether or not you like to be confused during a movie. And the confusion is what splits the boundary between like/dislike of this movie. It's a good film, but some things could have been better, like have Cob make a choice. 10/10

  • @archfruit Its onyl confusion, it's our curiosity about to know if it was real or not :)

  • @archfruit . i dont want to think while i watch movies, i mean taxi driver is a great movie, but you never have to think why travis bickle is going crazy..... the director shows us such a demented new york that our brain automatically processes that we accept he is going crazy without thinking about it. in inception i had to think about why they went to the next section, i had to think why they did what they did. that means my mind didn't completely accept and immerse in the rules of the world.

  • Quite agree, this movie was a solid 7/10 but not the classic that people (particularly reviewers and press) are willing it to be. Bit like 6th form poetry for me, valiant effort but ultimately flawed and downright pretentious at times.

  • I think the ending ripped off Total Recall.

  • go exercise instead

    fat fuck

  • @Eternal625 lmao, I give you my trophy for the day!

  • @Eternal625 Can't think of any valid ways to insult the man that you resort to his weight and lifestyle (which you don't even know). Contribute to the video or don't say anything at all. You're comment is pointless and proves that you aren't capable of giving useful criticism.

  • well in the end, it could either be a dream or not. thats the point

  • I paused this movie four or five times to make a sandwich, go poo, get my PHD and re-work Stephen Hawkings will. ..When I came back, the fucking movie was still playing!

  • The movie is fucking GENIUS. It's not only about the subject matter, it's a metaphor for film, such as Felini's 8 1/2. The "shared dream" concept is an analogy for film.

  • Finally someone with some sense. Inception was a joke.

Most of the people who found it "genius" just thought so because they struggled to understand it. It wasn't genius at all, but they wanted you to think it was so you could praise it. Once again industry triumphs over sheep, i mean, population.

  • This film was genius

How can you not see that?

The ending made the spinning tip look as it was about to fall, but cut before it did.

It's the only way you can satisfy an audience, by letting then figure out the ending.

I just don't agree with you.

How did you not enjoy the variety of locales in which the dreams took place, as well as the brief but enjoyable action sequences.

You are, excuse the pun, small minded

  • God this movie was so shit... and all I ever get told (with varying degrees of politness) is that I just "didn't understand it". I think I understood it better than most. It was shit.

  • ok...first i appreciate that you are speaking out about your own opinion of the film...i'm surprised to hear that you didn't enjoy the film as much as i did and even after this video i felt as though i wasted 10 min. and 24 sec. of my own time trying to understand your criticism of the film even though it's not even "constructed criticism". Another thing is that the ending was suppose to be up to the audience to figure out...that was the point!! Msg me if you would like to discuss this further.
