Yes it can play NES games, and yes it can play ALL nes/snes games. Anything there is a valid ROM for, it can play.

O yeahhhh I have a swap magic for my ps2 and I have a a 50 gig disc and im going to copy a ps3 game and my 50 gig disc then ill insert it in my ps2 im sure that its going to work becuase my cousin do it before and he said it work fine with the same graphic.So i dont need a ps2 yeeeeeeeees!! ill make a video when I do it subscribe me.

if you want the best one for you, learn how to google and find out which one this could be. That means, find articles, read opinions, ask on relevant forums - do not ask randomly in a irrelevant site/video. Everyone here may write whatever they think of, with or without experience / good judgment.

sdlmame is faster, even faster than MAME32 on windows, then also, Xmame has not been update since MAME 0.106..and will not anymore.

so stick with SDLMAME, it is great.

yes you can use ps3 gamepads via usb on mame and snes9x Its under dev/input/js0. Sound support on snes9e is not the best however, but it does work

if u mean like pc games or MMORPGS u don't even need the CD for those so u could just copy the files on to a USB KEY and put them on to the PS3 on Gentoo linux
