The radiator is in the front right above the fender

all the tecates were liquid cooled. the radiator is between the forks above the fender. the later years put it in front of the motor like on a 250r or tri-z

Only other engine size you could get that is smaller would be the old time sleeved down 200cc top end which was used in a 200cc 2stroke class when these were raced. know your shit before you run your fucking trap kid. BTW, ive got an 85. Are you going to tell me its not a 250 also?

all depends on the rider but none of them were faster than the tiger atc check that out on threewheeler world but the 250r was more reliable for me then the tri z and the tecate

I grew up around these thing and used to race em....i raced the honda kawasaki and the tiger and they were all pretty much the same only difference was when the bike came on the pipe....so sick and tired of people claiming which bike was fastest when most werent even teething when these bikes were made

@whothehellisBOOBOO my dad smoked many tri zs and tecates in his day when he had his 85 250r he had 2 of them and i sold mine last year so i would know thank you very much and the honda was the most reliable but we ride banshees now so good luck smoking one of them with your junk tecate

well check out the one i am building its an 86, it will be for sale in a month, i have 6 tecates- i have powder coated it and threw in a gold translucent paint on the swing arm, just like an 84..

I had one bored to 350 and ran 110 octane lets just say it was a death wish!! wheelie in every gear all the way to 90mph . and it shifted as fast as you could shift I bought a DS650 back in 2004 and you cant find a tecate like this anywhere !I like to power slide thru a corner and twist the throttle open a little into power wheelies !!! my friend had a honda 250r he got smoked ! I threw dirt over the power lines on my launch!!
