DSLite was made terribly, as in it breaks easily. Other then that it is great. This guy bought one that has either been overlyused or is a bit defective.

And look at it.. all that is wrong is a broken hinge. Which broke LAST year.

It matters if you buy good equipment for your DS (A DS Protection Case) and take care of your DS.

i think the ds lite is a bit better because its lite is way brighter and its more portable. but the original ds is ALSO good because it is more durable. i found that out when i dropped my original ds a lot of times on the sidewalk and it still worked fine.

There basically is no difference in quality.

The good thing about the lite is it's much easier to find accessories for (at least in America. Ever since the DSi came out they basically stopped selling accessories for the original ds).

The good thing about the original (at least for me because I have big hands) is it is larger so it's easier to hold. It's also much cheaper.

You could probably get one used for about $50. I don't think they even sell them new anywhere. I'm not sure how much they used to cost brand new because my friend gave me his when he got his Lite .

I have played both DS and PSP. I would say the PSP would win... NOT!! I hate the PSP! Who cares about graphics?! What I care about is if the games are fun or not!
