Thanks for posting! I discovered an easy way to position header art above everything with nav below and minimal white space:

• Paste the HTML code in OpenHooks AFTER the header, not before.

• Paste the snippet of php (copied from OpenHooks) AFTER the pasted HTML code, not before.

• Check both OpenHooks boxes in Before Header section.

• Turn off header text, as you did

• In Thesis Custom CSS, paste this simple code to remove padding:

.custom #header {padding:0px;}

DONE! I spent hours on this.

my webmaster put an amazon widget on the feauture box of the thesis open hook and i'm trying to modify it so i can put my affiliate link and I cant. How can I do that?

@EdgyDivadotCom That depends of it it is actually a widget or if it is custom code. If it is a widget you can open it in the widget panel and add your affiliate id to the widget. If it is custom code, it might be in the custom_functions.php file. If it is then you should be able to substitute the old affiliate information there.

good video, but I think that to run any business website, no matter what kind of construction method you use you need to know marketing strategies and a business plan. i am wondering if by making the image taller (more than 150 pixels), would that solve the problem of the empty white space below? is the css to remove the space easier than the css to install a custom header?
