  • darkside is a balles cunt

  • Cheng Fei is the best

  • That's not the behavior of someone that is on this kinda site!

  • CF rocks

  • now she continues or not?

  • Yes, she does. =)

  • She's Double Double is not so good !! :D

shes fall at the word cup of china !

so she change to a tsukahara pike !

    in world cup ! ;D

  • Um, THIS event was held BEFORE the Beijing Olympics so she changed the ending for the Beijing Olympics and not the other way around.

  • Double Double only in Olympic Games, of course o,o'

  • where is the double double?? :O

  • i really like fei's hand movements..so graceful. =)

  • Does any1 no y she took the double double out of the routine?

  • This is World Cup, low level routines, Yang Yilin was the unique that could that the gold from her, but very hard to do this. There was no need for lots of difficulty...

  • She is gorgeous! What a brilliant gymnast!

  • She's always classy and stylish in whatever she does. But I do prefer her 2004 routine.

  • LOL, the beginning of the song sounds like the Looney Tunes theme. I love it.

  • lol youre right =) its cute.

  • esquezito foi depois do solto dela da 1 passada dela.. ela num ia trava e travo pq ia sai..kk

Ela é uma ginasta muiito boa

  • what happened to her mount with double double

  • Score?

  • The music is called "Huang He"in Chinese"黄河",which is the mother river of China

  • Huang He is also means"The Yellow River"

  • This new song is very cool, after a while I liked it

    Hope she reaches 2012

  • did her boobs all of a sudden get bigger?

Cauz i've seen other videos of her and her boobs are smaller.

  • of course she's developing

  • I noticed that too. She must have hit a growth spurt between 2006 and 2007.

  • In a couple of interviews she mentioned having problems adjusting to her developing body during most of 2007 - hence not being on totally top form in Stuttgart.

  • VERY VERY VERY TALENTED

  • I find it funny that they made this music especially for her. :D It sounds so like...epic china movie adeventurey

  • he music is annoying!!! lol

    but veryyy talented gymnast.

  • PODEROSA

  • she is good, but unfortunately her performance at the olympics was not as good!!!agues it was not her day at the individual routines

  • Music: Yellow River Concerto

  • Even Nastia stepped out of the bounds.

  • awesome

  • i really like you as muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :( wish to see you

  • eu naum gosto dessa dai naum :O, ela é boaa ;)

  • Izbasa - olympic champion on floor :D

  • agreed

  • This music will go be very popular with the crowd in Beijing.

  • oh i thought you were saying that i was saying that she wouldnt be! sorry!

  • ofcorse shes going to be! i never said she wasnt!

  • i kind of like the music.

  • hmm this music is actually growing on me.

  • Go for gold in Beijing!

  • what does you being 16 have to do with it? The music is Yellow River Piano Concierto, not "percussion stuff"...and it was certainly effective with the Chinese audience (note their reaction at the end)...

  • i personally dont like the song, if you do thats fine

  • Precisely. The Olympics are in Beijing for christs sake...This is fitting for where the Olympics are being hosted!!

  • Cheng Fei, for what I have seen of her, has mostly over-rotated her last passes at crucial moments... She can get tired though.

I don't think she'll add a FLO onto it, but it's cleaner & adds a .1 CV onto her A score. I think she can do it; but it might be a tad hard on her nonetheless...

  • musicman112886 what do you mean she is a little out of shape

  • they prolly just mean the routine was watered down

  • She is definitely one of my favorites for the all around title in Beijing. I love her floor routines although she looked a little out of shape here.

  • Cheng doesn't do all around, only 3 events

  • yeha but nastia doesnt do all around either. she will still be in the all around. cheng fei will be in the all around. she has a chance for a medal

  • Nastia does do the all around

Cheng doesn't do bars so she can't be in the all around

    I don't know what you're talking about

    you mean the event finals??

  • nastias no good on vault and not brilliant on floor. i have nothing against her shes amazing i just used her as an example. cheng is brilliant on vault floor and beam. shes more all around than the rest of the chinese team.

  • I'm not getting what you're saying

Nastia can score in the high 14's on vault, which is way more than "no good"

She executes her vaults beautifully, and could possibly score a 15.0 if she sticks the landing (Ponor did in Stuttgart with a step)

Being good on 3 events doesn't make you a good all around gymnast if the 4th one you can't do at all

She WON'T be in the All Around final, Nastia most likely will

  • oh and ofcrose nastia will make it in the all around final. im definatly not doubting that.

  • she won't be used on vault or floor in team final, but she will be doing all 4 events in qualification and the all around if she advances

Nastia's A Score on floor is higher than Chellsie's BTW, and she can max out at 9.4 execution, which would have her at a 15.6

  • shes not shocking on bars. just as good as most of the usa girls on bars. asides from nastia ofcorse! and chellise probably too.

i see what your saying, but when chengs at her best shes amazing and i tihnk she will make in the all around. but we will see what happens i guess.

  • where were you when Cheng officially stated that she would stop training bars? She said this back in 2007, she's afraid of the event

it's common knowledge that Cheng is no good on bars

  • yeah but i still tihnk she will make it. im not trying to start an argument. i just like cheng. but we will have to wait till the games actually happen i guess.

  • I'm just stating the facts

at the Olympics, she will be competing Vault, Beam, and Floor

  • Cheng is a lot like Alicia Sacramone. She will compete only BB, FX, and VT in prelims (and probably qualify to ef in fx and vt). Nastia meanwhile will be competing all 4 events in prelims (but only 2 max in tf) in order to qualify for the aa.

  • ...do you really think they are comparable?

  • cheng is better

  • How are they not? Both team leaders and both can help the team everywhere except bars, which they are both scared of by the way.

  • She isn't good at bars by Chinese standards, which are the very highest, so she opts to not do them. Ponor was the same, if she had the confidence and a half decent bars, she could have taken the AA in 2004, her beam and floor got the top score every time and her vault was solid.

  • same with deng linlin and alicia sacramone-their weakest events

  • If your team mates are World Champions and serious contenders for Olympic Gold, it must seem even more difficult. It is ashame that some many loose a chance at the AA because they leave out their weakest event. In the 80's gymnasts were still good enough on their weakest piece to win medals.

  • yea but this is the new millenum. gymnasts have to be good in all 4 events, if they are all-arounders, or at least good at 3 events and okay on 1 more event.

  • In the 80's Silivas was weak on vault and Shush on beam, yet both of them were still able to get medals on their weakest pieces. They still had to be near perfect to be in with a chance of gold or silver.

I think some very good gymnasts are missing out on the AA, in 04 if Ponor and Cheng Fei were competing in the AA it would have been a much bigger fight for Patterson. In 08 again Cheng Fei with a have decent bars would have given the Americans a serious challenge.

  • Ponor and Fei certainly would've given Patterson a bigger run for her money but if Khorkina had made fewer small errors she could've taken it away from Patterson pretty easily. I thought for sure going in that Queen Khorkina was going to take it.

    ULTIMATUM

  • That's no longer true since Chellsie's upgrades... that combined with Chellsie's consistency is the reason Chellsie will be used in tf on floor.

  • I just heard a news that Memmel hurted her ankle once she arrived Beijing and will only compete for Team.

  • Memmel had a very minor ankle injury, but she is still training and still expected to do aa in prelims. As for the news, the injury occured almost 3 days ago.

  • I clean performance.. but I think yes watered down ... the big meet is the olympics and I doubt we'll see a full 'unwatered down' routine before then... not with the risk on injury

  • she floats all her tumbles

  • Yes, she watered down this routine.

At the Chinese Nationals, she threw in:

    - A double-double instead of her full-in pike...

    - A 2 1/2 twist instead of her side pass of a double twist...

    - And a double pike instead of the 2 1/2 twist for her last pass. (She's working on her full-in pike at the end though)

We can expect her SV to be around a 6.5 in Beijing with those changes. (With a full-in pike; a 6.6.)

  • i hope she changes her sheep jump (B) to a C jump.. then she can get 6.7..sldnt be too difficult right?

  • Actually, if you want her SV to be a 6.7 technophobe02, all she needs to do is add a front layout to her side pass of a 2 1/2 twist.

She's more than capable of doing that, (she's done it before!) & whilst she's not replacing the B with a C element, she's adding a .1 CV to her A Score... Making it a 6.7.

It also gives her more time to dance AND gives her 2 1/2 twist a cleaner landing. It's a much sounder plan, don't you think?

  • adding a front LO to that side pass could make that last half of the routine that much more exhausting

and Cheng already gets exhausted sometimes at full difficulty

  • Yes, I felt it might be hard for her to re-add that 2.5twist-layout seeing that her 1.5twist-front full is quite weak. leaps and jumps sld come easy to the Chinese so changing to a C jump was the most practical IMO. however i do agree that her 2.5 landing is very unclean, as with most of the other Chinese.

  • actually, their C jumps are pretty bad aside from the switch ring

they do a lot of turning leaps with their weaker leg forward (ex. Cheng's tour jete 1/2 is done on her right leg and it's not very good, same with Jiang Yuyuan and her switch leap 1/2)

  • i am afraid of oversea judge may not accept that too chinese music

  • I like... XOXO Lisa :D

  • This is obviously a very watered-down FX routine for her. I'm assuming she'll throw all her big skills in Beijing, or else she'll lose.

  • yea, most gymnast wont throw any big tricks at small competitions in fear of getting injured. but i'm sure she'll throw her double double at the olympics. i cant wait to watch it, imma go online first to see who wins before i watch here in the usa. LOL i love the internet.

  • I finally we'll see Shawn go down. I'm so pissed Shawn won in 2007. She didn't deserve it

  • Please point by point describe how?

  • She absolutely did deserve it, she was clearly the best.

  • I hate the fact Shawn is considered a world champ, but I have to say she deserved it. Good thing this year the better gymnasts won.

  • Oi.

I hope she cleans up. And I MEAN SOON!

  • Yes she won!!

  • Spectacular music (similar rendition to Mo Huilan circa 1996 Olypics, but with better percussion). Should bode well for the home crowd come Olympics 2008. Hopefully Fei will include the double twisting tuck and triple twist (she will have to if she will challenge USA's Shawn Johnson).

  • good did she win i hope so
