May I interject here from a native Deaf ASL signer? Ella, as a native signer too, had non-manual markers on her face which had a specific meaning when she mentioned the day as Hitler's birthday. I am aware that specific nuances on the face are often overlooked or misinterpreted among non-natives of ASL. Her mention of Hitler was powerful as my father is of German origin and I personally know of some Deaf who were sterilized during Nazi Germany.

I'm sorry that you feel you were offended. I thought Ella's comment was good, b/c she remained me that some ppl who supported AB2072 may or may not do it on purpose. You may know that AGB was a chairman of American Eugenic Society. Lindberg was an advocate for AES & traveled to Germany. Nazism was partly influenced by American Eugenic Society. Not only Jewish, but also deaf Gentile people were suffered by Nazism. We also hate Nazism and Hitler. Your ppl is too powerful today. We need your help.

Amy, I do completely understand how you feel insult about Hilter issue as I am aware you are jewish that why! Including myself jewish also believe in Y'shua the Messiah. I am very strongly angry against Hilter/Nazi is because my late great aunt was killed during the holocaust by Hilter in Poland. Also, anyone who insult me about Hilter; I am easily angry at them. Most of our jewish people including you and me are very senitive to reaction toward this issue.

Hm...comparison of events have a way of belittling or amplifying the current or historical events, depending on any situation. I will think carefully when I'd compare anything... I never thought that way until you brought up Godwin's Law.
