Flew out of here in Air France 146 to Madrid this summer. Interesting take-off, hold on full power with brakes on then away. Tight right turn over north east London, then out over Essex coast. Excellent airport too.
The 146 was the biggest jet to land here I think, until the A319 started flying in. Most airports have a 3deg glideslope but the A319 has a 5deg glideslope.

Very nice, its the A318 thats certified to land there now, not the A319 but they are both simular.
