Hey, thanks for posting this. I've been an MC5 fan since I was 13, in the 70s, and I always liked John Sinclair. I'm astonished by people today, they seem to get dumber by the minute (just look at the comments!) but I refuse to believe that the sort of 60s & 70s counter-culture shall never happen again. The Renaissance, the Enlightenment, Romanticism & Decadentism in the 19th century (the 1848 revolutions): every century has its own counter-culture & uprisings: I just hope to see the next one

John Sinclair is one of my all time political/countercultural heroes. I have met him a few times at the Ann Arbor Hash Bash, and at the U of Michigan Flint campus where i work. He is a very cool ol' hippie dude who still has the spirit of the sixties.
