They try to keep your money in limbo so you cant close your account due to an infinite cycle of pending transactions, even if you don't use your debit card. I don't know what city/state you live in, but I can't believe you said that.... It took me 4 tries to close my chase bank account and because they wouldn't do it the first time (or the second, or the third) it cost me almost $200 in overdraft fees. Friday A customer service rep at a local branch told me I could withdraw all my funds and he would close the account on the following Monday after my direct deposit had cleared. From then on I had not used my Debit card and what do you know, Chase had re-pended two transactions that had cleared the week before, and caused an overdraft fee.

However, why is it than when a citizen puts Money in a savings account, the banks pay little interests, but when the bank loans Money to a citizen, the interests charged are by far higher.

Friday A customer service rep at a local branch told me I could withdraw all my funds and he would close the account on the following Monday after my direct deposit had cleared. From then on I had not used my Debit card and what do you know, Chase had re-pended two transactions that had cleared the week before, and caused an overdraft fee.

Just an irrational thought . Wen the banks steal Money from the citizens, that's legal. But when a citizen steals Money from the banks; that's illegal.
However, why is it than when a citizen puts Money in a savings account, the banks pay little interests, but when the bank loans Money to a citizen, the interests charged are by far higher.
The sad part is that people accepte this as the way it is and the way it should be.

Easy ways to store more money. But services and man-hours cost money too. A bank has all the money in the accounts available, and that's why u can get a loan, so u can pay for something big without having to save for 20 years. I feel bad for your brother. I work for a bank and I been told and train that if anybody comes over to robbed just comply and walk away; Not to fight cause the robber is as much nervous and afraid as everyone else. Money can always be replace. I hope last min he reconcile with God and hopefully he is in a much better place, we will sure mis him. By the way banks loose 95% of their money in fraud. That's like 7billion annually. Tiny 5% in robberies. I will keep you in my prayers.

I like it how Chase, along with other major banks, took part in "legally" stealing billions of dollars from Amerians because they are greedy and failed their companies but because some, probably poor, person comes to take a little bit that money back, they are ignorant scum. I am not saying it is a good idea to rob banks, as we can see, but you all clearly would rather have rich people do it than poor people.

Is it wrong to show sympathy for people who get killed? Are you god? Are you so righteous? You should celebrate peoples ability to sympathize or you are the one who needs help. We are not talking about Hitler here. It was some fucking person who felt that they needed to rob, stupid or not, (I dont think it is a great idea) the situation sucks because a person had to die. Given it is not the main focus but it doesnt hurt to think about everyone who is hurt by this.
