Nice job! I thought "Fizz Water" was abt. two minutes; was there a change to a different tune around the 2:00 minute mark? Faster than my recording of said tune, but I like it nonetheless. Very spirited.

there seems to be no build to it. It starts off running and stays there. I guess great technical skill, but no musicianship. In my opinion sometimes simpler, but with more style is better than being so complicated with no style. (when i say style i mean variation in loudness, rhythyms, tempo, and other stylings. not just extra notes, and zooming through a song.)

@1991rachelw I disabled comments not because of bad ones but because I didn't like this new commenting system YT put in place a year ago, and also, I was getting over 100 emails a day and didn't have to read them all. What's the point of comments if I can't read them? I don't comment much any more on others' videos and this comment (the one I deleted) I put over a year ago but really shouldn't have. You are an idiot anyway, so get lost.

One of these days I need to ask Frederick whether playing it as a rag (the sheet music is a one-step) is something he came up with or if he's mimicking a classic recording of the piece. Or maybe somebody here knows.

I'm not sure, but I think it's his own arrangement, it's sure creative, and one of the hotter renditions I've heard of the tune.

Having taken quite a few lessons from Frederick, I have come to know that he tries to make his pieces sound like a piano roll. And, most of the arrangements of classic rags he does are totally his own.
