I everybody. This is in my opinion one of the most beautiful song from Bob. And the more i listen to the different versions, the more i think this acoustic version is the best.

I play guitar and i really want to cover it, but i have some difficulties in catching the rythme though it doens't sound hard to learn. I would like to know if someone can help me, giving advices or links to videos that can help.

Actually, i know the chords, and i play guitar for 4 years on my own, especially reggae music (because it's easyer :p). The probleme is that i can't catch the rythme and only the rythme i feel like i'm an idiot, but i can not make my guitar sound like Marley'sone in this video.

It may have a link witht the fact that my guitar is bad quality. I don't know, if anybody knows a video where someone plays guitar the same way please give the link.

When he met Peter Tosh he started to become ineterested in the Rasta lifestyle, he converted, is you can even use that word, to Rasta and found such a truth and power that he stayed a Rastaman until the day he died. Bob was baptized before his death and re-accepted Jesus, through the Ethiopian orthodox church in Jamaica. This church was build by Selassie in Jamaica, because he was concerned that some people thought he was Jesus. Selassie was follower of Jesus himself.

I think his meaning of "the stone that the builder refused, will always be the head cornerstone" is being different. The stone is referring to something different from the ordinary, and when it is different, it is not looked upon on society. But by being different you create a new way of doing things like a 'cornerstone' in life. Bob Marley believed he could literally cure hatred and racisim by a different approach, "injecting music and love into people's lives".

To chime in on the Biblical basis of the song - Ya'll got to stop blamin' all Jews for 'refusing' Christ - it was never like that.
