@TylerXProductions anders was still in the band when corey joined. they asked him to move onto percussion, which he didnt want to. and sid wasnt the last member to join, jim was. and pinhead (craig to some people) was a guitarist before josh joined, they moved him onto samples

@TylerXProductions anders left after corey joined coz they told him to move to backing vocals. and mick was one of the last to join. he joined josh brainard, who left after the album was recorded, and was replaced by jim root. jim only plays on 1 or 2 songs on the debut album. its not even jim on the cover. no mention of craig playing guitar until they got brainard, when he moved to samples

@TylerXProductions I'm pretty sure that Joey was a founding member, and that the original singer was Anders Colsefini and that Mick joined to replace Craig on the guitar. then Craig became sampler

@PatsOwn50 Not really, joey enterd AFTER it became slipknot. So hes not a founding member, he came in after Shawn wanted to do percussion. And craig was guitar then he changed to samples,keyboard, DJ, media, electronics but couldnt handle it all and they got sid to share some work.

@TylerXProductions That isn't correct, Joey was the one who recommended that Craig be put in the band, Chris was originally to be Joey's drum tech but they made him the percussionist because Anders thought 3 drummers would be badass, and Anders was with Slipknot when Corey was in the band as backing vocals and percussions.

@LiveMaggot There is only 1 drummer, Shawn and Chris are custom perccusion (Bass drums and snares) and before Anders left he was tribal perccusion and lead vocals (the perccusion was a cupple of african drums and oil cans)
