Wow, Shows that Edgar is a more developed, intelligent soul than the brother. Sig comes across as defensive, sarcastic and holllow. To put it clearly, I sacrifice my self for my family, yes. I made the decision to have a family, my kids did not demand to be born. So it is my duty to take care of them even if I have to destroy myself to do it. Plus I am a parent too. I don't set a bad example for them to follow, and then send them off to rehab while I lay around and die. Sig is right, too many pu**ys out there these days. Man up ppl, everyone has got health issues. That is not an excuse to quit. A real man never lays down.

I have a bad back, 3 torn and bulging discs, and more, yet I work hard each and everyday. Yes, Sig is right, if Edgar can't work, he needs to quit. Without the money Sig brings in for the boat and crew, there would be no money for back surgery, food,or anything else. Sig keeps his crew and his family fed, clothed, and taken care of. Grow up CCCChedo, This is the REAL world. Without Sig, there would be no business. I have worked 45 years. I don't want to hear Edgar bitching about working 20.

You know this is one of those things where I can see both sides of the story, Sig doesn't want to loose a valuable resource and he doesn't want his brother to leave. (I'm pretty sure it's that order too) At the same time yeah Edgar is right, he needs to be with his kids and if fishing is tearing him apart go do the right thing and find a new career. Never to late to change.
