best music youve ever made? comeon! don't get me wrong its a great album this one, but judgement is WAY better. you shouldve got the recognition for your music then not now. the fact that more and more people are getting into you doesnt mean your making better music. Im not saing that this is the logic that your going with but saying that you thought that this is one of the best album this year and some people aggreed? so what? didnt you think that all your albums were the best back then?
@alternative444 Don't think about the style you like, but quality and evolution.
For me Judgement was breathtaking, my favourite, but after listening to Natural Disaster...it transmitted me so powerfull feelings that I got addicted to it. It was a big change, and now with WAHBWAH there are new ingredients: optimism, hope and love.
I think what make a band ethernal is their quality to change, adapt and evolve.
@laufaus their latest music is not better.. it's different. still good but i disagree with Danny saying their music today is better. yeah i don't like the positively musical direction they took and liked the gloomy albums more but i can still appreciate their music VERY much. a natural disaster has amazing songs in it but also mediocre ones and we're here cause we're here is a beautiful album but still judgement, alternative 4 and eternity are perfect each in it's own way.
@alternative444 I doubt he thinks Judgement, Alternative 4 and Eternity are bad albums, it's just that they've got over that phase - I think it's really good that he thinks this is their best album, it shows the band has faith in what it's doing, that they're doing their music honestly, enthusiastically etc. it's obvious some will still love old Anathema more, but no one's stopping you to go and listen to that as much as you like :)
