  • um how did you get the beat pad itself on your mac?? or even the iphone for that matter, I have a touch so it probly wont work? plz help

  • This does not work for windows - The only IMPORT SETTINGS button applies specifically to "When you insert a CD" - basically, you can change all those settings but it only applies to when a CD is inserted into the computer. I need to convert my pre-existing MP3s already in iTunes and there is no option to do so running the latest iTunes through Windows.

  • @lrheault32 Use Audacity to convert your mp3 into WAV. It's really easy. There's a couple of videos about it here somewhere.

  • Hey if you use windows, not a Mac do this:

    1.) Go through the steps this video tells you to do all the way to 3:29

    2.) then instead of going to Finder (Macs only), go to Windows Explorer

    3.) Click Libraries 4.) then Music 5.)go to Itunes-> itunes Media-->music

    6.) then find the song that you "duplicated" (the wav version)

    7.) Drag and drop this song onto your beatpack kit

    And thats It! You can follow the rest of the video directions from 4:42 to the end to get your sample on your ipod
