I must tell you I watched this movie for the first time tonight and when (your grandfather) the older man was singing i told my company that I thought they must have had local people and not actors for this scene. ah!! so this was the second Nicholas Sparks book I read *first being Message in a Bottle buut that doesnt matter* And.... althought I loved the movie.. the book is better I'm sorry. The movie and book aren't exactly hand-in-hand... but that's expected like most books that become movies.... Richard and Diane did amazing in their roles tho.. I plan on buyin it when it comes out to DVD.... =) it's just not like the book if you know what I mean? Nicholas Sparks is an amazing author!

I loved this movie! My husband and I took a "road trip" this weekend. Visited Rodanthe to find "Serendipity", the name of this vacation spot. It's a shame how the ocean is taking such a meaningful place. Wish someone could step up and save it!!!
