I was assistant agent for CNR at Craik VE Day WW2. . :Lots of blue eyed blonde girls at the big dance that night! It was a thriving town in those days. Pat Gallagher was the agent, he eventually transferred to Rosetown.and retired there. They had a good hockey rink, but I suppose it is gone too. Leebm29
The hockey rink that was completed in the fall of 1949 is still standing, and will be for a long time to come.

i also forgot to mention that the railway was purchased a few months ago and reopened as a short line. Last Mountain Railway.

Yes, Craik appears but the ghost of its erstwhile self. Best burgers in central SK, some claim. Don't know about the rink.
