Amazing. Michael jackson has always been an idol of mine. One thing about him was he was a completely different person on stage or performing than he was off the camera. He had ultimate confidence and somewhat aggression, his artist aura was outrageously opposing to his everyday person aura. I cannot stand how so many critics then and today do not see this video as pure genius. Blending interpretive dance, modern dance, the movie musical era (astaire work the same thing for a scene) and put his signature moves in it. Why do critics not see this? Thriller may have sold more, but MJ did not fail to out do that album. This video is proof that he got better as a visionary. I don't know a dance from the 80's that is still relevant today except his.
