@Xboxshqip Are you kidding me? It's MEANT to do that. The textures load slower so that more can be in the distance. The programming is untouchable. You can have a mid grade PC kill it at over 60 fps. Best graphics at the performance you get. Crytek and Frostbite are amazing...yes...of course it is. But look at the hardware that you need in order to get slightly better graphics. So its not really the engine that makes those games, its the time put into modeling....

@spidernatclip Yes, I know that. Thats why we have cutscenes...but obviously the unreal engine is nice because you rarely have cutscenes, and when they are they are done in real-time. I'm saying that those other games put out nice graphics but you need amazing hardware because of the shitty programming in the engine. I have a $600 build and I can run Unreal Games at 60-100fps at 1920x1080. Games like Crysis and Metro like 15-20 because of the shitty programming. FPS-Visual ratio...Unreal rules.

@brentisverycool More likely it'll be like a current high-end PC.. they pack future tech into consoles at release in order to keep them relevant for 6-7 years.. the GPU used in the 360 was something that wasn't even available for PCs at time of its release. Of course PCs catch up quickly after launch and surpass at a premium price and a lack of game content. Microsoft took a big loss with each console initially though, so the consumer gets huge bang for the buck.

This is why PC suffers with crappy console ports that are still DX9. I wish DX11 consoles were already out so we could stay in sync. XBOX 360 is a piece of shit, it came out in 2005. It has only recieved minor improvements since then. Microsoft needs to hurry it up.

The funny thing is that this is only a taste of what is yet to come. If this is a tech demo for Unreal Engine 4 which is still in development I can't what to see what a full on UE4 game will look like. Demos always look good. The UEs are always impressive, though. Cliff and Co. know how to deliver an engine that can provide solid graphics with excellent performance.

Then there's companies like Crytek that take it a few generations ahead at the cost of performance. Something attained by PCs, but takes several years for consoles to catch up.
