@curioman Thanks, It is a Dimarzio Area T in the neck and a hand wound custom bridge PU. The sound is unique on this guitar I had built due to a couple of factors. Its Black walnut which has a mohogany tone to it but tighter and clearer mixed with the pop of the birds eye maple. I tool a look at you channel as well. Nice Tele youve got as well. What brand is it?
@MrEricErrera Very cool. Thanks for the details. I need to try the Area Ts. I've been eyeing Bob Logan's guitars and I'll get one once I have the funds. I've played mahogany, but not walnut. Sounds very nice. My Tele is a Warmoth build. Actually, I've got two--one has quilt maple top with dragon burst finish over alder, the other is swamp ash with black finish and natural mask binding. Both are chambered and I love the sound of them.
