This song.. Reminds me of, of course, my ex. We went out for about 2 and a half months. We were constantally fighting. He always had to get his way. I couldnt go out with friends with out his approoval. I couldnt wear things he didnt like. I had to constantally check up with him. To tell him who i was talking to. Where i was. And what i was doing. The only reason i put up with it was long as i did is because when he was sweet, he was perfect. But i cant do it anymore. I had to be my own person..
@Solana97 That's sad. But you had to do what you had to do. You should be proud of urself cuz you stood up for urself. This song reminds me of my 2 friends who always pushed me around. I stood up too late :(
@TheTurtleGeek Youre right. I had to stand up for myself. I couldnt be harassed the way i was anymore. I had to be myself, controlled by myself. And not someone else. Im so glad i got away from it when i did. Ive met someone new and better for me. He lifts me up when i start to feel the deppression of that abuse i dealt with from my ex. Im so glad i found him <3

@Solana97 good comment. sorry to hear that, but I hope you know that when a man and his woman go out and she's dressed to impress...who is she trying to impress? if you let him know that it's for him and not random guy...it goes a long way. It's true girl. if you dont let him be a part of your life and you keep your life secret from him, then no relationship will last...takes two to tango
@FlareneX This is true.. For the most part. But when i went out, i was going out with my girl friends, not some random guy. I wanted to look nice. I wanted to feel good about myself. But if i looked better than him, he'd get pissed. THAT was his problem. I told that guy EVERY little thing about my life. There was no secret. HES the one that kept secrets. But, like i said in another comment. Its over and done with. And ve moved on to better things <3
Adele is my new favorite singer i heard this sing and started to cry because it reminded me of my father leaving and this whole song is how i feel about him over the years and she has such a beautiful voice i keep replaying this song over and over again
