Slum Dog Millionaire is the biggest joke ever! First of all, it was a movie made to make cash out of misery! Kids in indian slums live in abject poverty and the movie just exploited it. Oh, and about the child labor comment, come to India and see just what child labor means. Its illegal for children to work, but on every traffic light you see children begging, at every train station you see children shining shoes or doing odd jobs, whatever they can to earn some rupees for their families. I live in Bombay and I know a lot of people who have started life in a slum and have worked hard to make something of their lives, eventually moving out of the slum (yes to an apartment with a flush toilet!) and still speak of their childhood in the slum as the happiest moments of their life.
