When training camp was rolling Josh McCown was named the disputed starter but when the Dolphins made a suprising pick in signing Pennington, McCown was pretty much done by then. And remember this vid was made way before training camp. And for Aaron Rodgers he had high expectations after Favre left and he delivered. I don't kno what your smoking buddy but u better stop.

He didn't start dumbass becuz he didn't fit Dan Henning's offensive scheme. The only QB to fit in his scheme was Jake Delhomme. McCown was still impressive but Pennington showed the accuracy to fit in Henning's scheme. McCown fit's in NE offense.

Because I was interested in seeing McCown in a whole different offense. This vid says 5 Quarterbacks to watch out for in 2008 and I think any football fan would be interested in seeing a QB play in a whole different scheme but unfortunately Parcells and Sparano didn't like McCown that much and traded him away. But His career is basically over now.

Just curious. What made you think so highly of Josh? Was he turning his career around in Miami? I really don't follow the Doplins, but know that Josh is a backup in Carolina these days.

Yea Josh is 3rd String now in Carolina I believe. But if he were in the Dolphins still I do believe that he could have made an impact. Miami has a good Offensive playbook and fits with Josh McCown. I still think he has strong potential and should get another shot to start in the NFL.
