A song that has been my favorite for a long time - since the 007 movie came out - awesome dynamics and at 2:25 - the drummer going from a 16th note fill to triplets between the toms and the bass drum = very cool! :)
I'm sitting in a warm heated room, but at 0.30 I shivered from head to toe... Who can ever forget those days when this tune and movie hit the scenes. Those were the days of fantastic music blowing in the air.
@PaulMcCartney... ya sure uploaded an 'ace" video, wow what a crowd ....hmmm. Tks. for this exclusive share, well done ...from Budapest cheers :-)
amazing to think im seeing this man in december with my dad, both of us big fans of him. amazing inspiration to any bass player or musician in general.
I saw his 7/16/11 Yankee Stadium concert and was comparing. I think he sounded and looked better now than he did then. Not sure how a man 69 y/o does what he does!
With Beatles in mind, the posted video, "40 Years of History in 3 Minutes" is a fast-paced music montage set to GET BACK and GLASS ONION capturing historic landmarks, 8mm film antics of the time and The Beatles' rooftop performance. Enjoy!
Can you just imagine the people living in the neighborhood near here? "John, honey, what's that light shining through the window? It's getting really loud!" "Dammit, Martha, it's bloody Paul again and his band. I'll go have a word with him." *walks outside* "MARTHA! Look at this fucking amphitheater."
Why did Paul decide to just drop the "Wings" name and just go out as a "solo" performer with backing musicians? Did he not have to share the profits with the others that way? Or was it just dumb to think anybody cared what the rest of the members wrote?
I saw Paul in concert last August in Toronto and it is the BEST ever performance that I ever seen in my life. I was crying of joy and had this huge smile on my face. Thanks Paul for your music! : ) You rock! All the best to you and God bless.
@Faria11deeppurplefan yeah except all the numerous original songs they wrote, aside from those TWO covers you mentioned... of course no one knows guns n roses for songs like welcome to the jungle.. you must be right!
@Faria11deeppurplefan yep, appetite for destruction, just one of the highest selling debut albums in the history of the world, no, no one knows guns n roses for their songs, grow up!
@Faria11deeppurplefan so Guns is only known by covers? have you heard sweet child o' mine, or welcome to the jungle, or paradise city, oh those are cover too right?? LOL Guns is a great band 2 covers and they copy songs? oh grow up
every year on the weekend of spring break, the coachella fest happens for 3 consecutive days. i dont remember but i think there is like 6 different stages, where different bands are playing on each stage. my favorite is the techno tent. the music at the festival varys from rock to techno to classical. thats it tho. i can show you who played this year. its amazing, i cant believe you havent heard of it.
