@PaulSunde Hi. I play at church. I also taught myself guitar that way and can pick very well. Over time, it has become easier for me to tell the keys, chords and notes a song is played in. Please keep it up and don't be discouraged. I think music is universal and there are musicians who do better without rules.

Sorry, I play by ear and basically improvise on the spot. In fact, if I think about what I am doing I often cannot play the guitar at all.
