my rats about 6 n half ft at the mo but hes a dick when ever you go to pick him up its like watching cctv with how much he stutters i dont quite know what it is if anyone can help. dont wonna handle him like that incase he decides to rape me or something lol. i thought breeders just bred rat and corn together sometimes to get smore variations but rats are bigger than corns too!! but my rat needs to man up hes being anoying.

Corn snakes are rat snakes, but a specific species of rat snake. This would be a corn snake with some of the weirdest patterning I've ever seen before. But if he is a corn, then he would be an anery, or charcoal or something along those lines...

i have ine named shadow, they would run you 60 to 75 dollars as babys ( southeastern USA ) IF THE BREEDER IR SELLER KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DEALING WITH. u can get them for 40 bucks at a petco petsmart but please dont buy from generic stores, they dont know anything baout the animals ( most of the time) are over priced( in most cases ) and will tell you anything to make a sale.

Corn snakes have a distinctive pattern on their heads. I have a 7 year old snow corn snake (anery crossed with amel) a 5 year old whitewater rosy boa het albino and a 3 month old albino checkered garter snake.. so I know a little bit about snake morphs and care and cost..

@tpooty456 take it to the vet IMMEDIATELY, have it checked out, if its fine you definately got lucky! but if it isnt well then you may have a problem on ur hands, but the vet will know what to do, just warning any sick reptile, if its in bad condidtion, will need ALOT of attention to heal so dont think it will be easy u may want to let the vet keep him for a while while he heals, this will only run up the vet bill...so in the end, u payed full price, good luck wiht it tho.

deano112211 how long is a piece of string? lol these corn snakes take many many years to reach their full size. i have a 3 year old male whos only just over 4 feet long, been told by a reptile vet they can take up to 6 years to reach the size of 5 foot 6 footish. if your corn snake is 2 foot long at only 6 months then he is growing very good for his age but whatever you do do not over feed your snake just to make it grow faster as it is not good.

there is a serpents widget programme but not sure if its available to download any more you take a birds eye view photo of your snake coiled up next to something you know the measurements of like something about 2 inches say, then u set the widgets setting to that of the 2 inch programme and that gives u the measurement of ur snake,
