  • put a chain tensioner on it, less able to de-rail

  • That's awesome!

  • You could slide comfortable hand grips onto the bike pegs too.

  • You could also add a chainguard (from a 3speed or kids bike) to serve as a chainring protector incase you should have a face plant or header, just for safety's sake lol, the pegs the slide onto the chair should be quick release skewer retained. Also make certain the chainline in in position with the rear wheel mounted on the front fork. This shall aid in shifting. They add an Avocet 40 cyclocomputer to log the miles (no longer produced but find on eBay (I have mine from 1992 era!)

  • You should have a fellow weld on steel bike pegs to pedal spindles for more ergonomic comfort.

Otherwise neat design! Is this the prelude to something in the worx?

  • I hope those welds are TIG-Welded or Tungsten Inert Gas weld this would be the same as was originally on the bike which is a circa 1989 or '90. Add a derailer & gears you should have a 11-28 cluster so in other words a 11,13,15,18, 21, 24, 28 if 7-speed, you could have a 12-28 but limited high speed gearing.

As far as the down tube of the frame you should have an additional re-enforcement plug to add additional structural support.

  • Awsome!

  • Jordan good to see you back posting, been wondering how you were doing.

Is the sailing adventure off for now?

Are you back home getting ready for a new outing?

Keep posting, always enjoy your videos.

Good to see the inventor in you is coming out again.

    Take care .

    Phil

  • you may need to put the crank arms in the same direction to get you up the grades

  • Hello from Russia///

  • Awesome Jordan, wondering if you shoukd put some kind of guard over the chain in case you hit something to protect your forhead. Where are you at these days? Any sailing in your future?

  • Id like one of those for my TiLite wheelchair it looks sharp !

  • That's awsome man!!! Even though I'm not in your situation, every time I watch one of your videos and see how commited you are to making your life the best it can be, it inspires me to go out and do something fun in myy shop, on my farm, etc and actually do something. Cause a life spent on the couch, is a wasted life. Typically.

  • Thats pretty sweet!! Are you the first to make up the design?? I'd be interested in that for my wheelchair!!

  • cool! go back to yellow stone ill bet it will be much easier:) not to mention on monday all state parks u get in for free!
