@munkofpunk Parden my intrusion but, i must interject. Spain was a world power during its colonial era. For about 100 to 150 years Spain had the biggest european empire and was a strong naval power. But,their empire began to decline as the English empire grew, and was also severly damaged after Napolean invaded Spain. Yes, the British empire did become quite large but Spain controled all of South America, A vast majority of Western North America, the Philipeans, and many pacific islands.

@lordjorach well there are some versions, write in the top "Himno español con letra" and the video with the same name... this is the lyrics in Franco times, franquist lyrics... then there is another one which was about to become the new lyrics few years ago, but finally it didn't prospere, u have to write "Nuevo.Himno de España con nueva letra"...

and finally is there another which either was not elected for many years ago, u write "Himno de España - La letra que no fue"
